4.0 out of 5 stars Future Epicureans
Raised at close proximity to Manhattan, you cannot help but to savor foods from all parts of the world! I have been sure to teach my twins to eat a wide variety of foods from different parts of the world, aside from their own diverse cultures, so it is only befitting that they play in the same manner! They were delighted to be able to "cook" some of the different foods...

2.0 out of 5 stars Quality is Lacking
Within the last month or so, I have ordered many of the Learning Resources Play Food Sets (Breakfast, Healthy Snack, Lunch, Dinner, Bread Basket and Fruits and Vegetables). I was completely disappointed when this one showed up. The quality was not up to the same standards as the others. The paint jobs were shoddy. Both the meatballs and sauce and the fried rice look...

Both the meatballs and sauce and the fried rice look like piles of vomit. The taco shell was very dark. What pizza has yellow sauce??? It looks like something that should be sold in a dollar store. Very unhappy.

I have been sure to teach my twins to eat a wide variety of foods from different parts of the world, aside from their own diverse cultures, so it is only befitting that they play in the same manner! They were delighted to be able to "cook" some of the different foods they know and love. I also love hearing them explain what the foods are and where they're from when they have friends over for playdates!

I own a daycare and I am always trying to find new ways to teach young children about other cultures. The multicultural play food meets that goal. The children love playing with it during pretend play.
