It's a good way to learn fractions while having fun.

I can't tell you how drawn the kids are to these pizzas, they love serving up the slices, or taking them out of the oven.

This is a nice three-pizza set made of very durable rubber and plastic.

This has to be one of the best gifts my 2 year old got this year for her birthday. Every day she comes downstairs, goes right to her kitchen and serves up pizza for us and for whatever dolls are lying around. Eight pieces on eight plates. She's still young for the fractions. Whereas earlier she was picking up the pizza slices by hand, lately she's been using the pizza cutter and spatula that comes with this kit and carefully picking up the pieces to serve. Lots of fine motor skill and social skill development going on! I love that the plastic is thick and super durable, not the cheapo kind at all. I just got the ice cream kit from Learning Resources and plan to get other food products from them.

I ordered this for my 5 yr. old son so he could start learning about fractions. I thought it would be fun for him since he loves pizza...we eat it every Friday night. I just wish the pizza delivery box was sturdier & made out of tougher cardboard & that the pizzas themselves were bigger. I feel this toy is pretty pricey (should cost $5-$10), but that's just my opinion. Other than that, I don't regret ordering this educational toy.

This is a nice three-pizza set made of very durable rubber and plastic. The only drawback is that each pizza is very small, only 4 inches across. That said, my daughter loves it; she's only three and too small to appreciate the educational aspects of it yet, but she loves to set up her pizza buffet and serve everyone in the house!

In the last few weeks, I've gone "Learning Resources" crazy. I decided my kiddies needed an upgrade in their play food (we had horrendous plastic food that came with their play kitchen). one by one, I've been buying the sets from LR and each time, I'm pleased with the quality of the sets (except for the fruit and veggie chopping set, which I didn't think was that great). This set is no exception...my kids look at this as more of play food right now (they are 2.5 years old) but I know that there is the potential for more when they are ready to learn about fractions.

However, even as play food, the quality is spectacular. I like the material this is made from...it is solid, seems quite durable and so adorable. Be forewarned...it really is quite tiny. A little smaller than I expected but that's ok- still better than what we had before. I love the little pans and the pizza cutter is great- a favorite for my little girl. I think that the pizza serving spatula (is that what you call that thing? I have no idea) is ridiculously tiny and only usable by the smallest hands. Fitting, I suppose, for the tiny pizzas but still- limited functionality over all. I is ok though- at the least, it helps to develop motor skills but I don't expect much. We received the same one in the breakfast set and the kiddies never use it.

I purchased this toy in addition to Small World Living Toys My-Oh-My Pizza Pie for my two year old son. I wanted a pizza set that could add to his Ikea kitchen fun and maybe something that could double as educational later. Once I received both sets I was very disappointed in this one. Don't get me wrong I love Learning Resources products, they are always great quality as is this pizza set, but it should not really be labeled as a toy but more of an educational tool. The pizzas are very small and I don't see why any child would want to "play" with it, and being that he's only two I have some time before he's learning fraction and this set would then come of any use. I would buy it if I needed it for educational purposes because again it is great quality but NOT as a toy.

Intended for use in the classroom. Product arrived in timely fashion and as described. Nice chunky pieces and very colorful. They are to be used with a special needs class and are well suited to that because the pieces are small enough to be easily handled, not too heavy for fingers that are challenged to grasp. The breakdown of fractions is for simple level learning. Also, all pieces are too big to be easily swallowed. Only the pizza cutter might present a problem because of the small wheel attached. Very pleased with product.

My kids play with this every day! Even when their friends come over to play; this is one of the first things that gets puled off of the shelves. They paint job looks very realistic and the pieces are very durable, even to pretend chewing! The two of them love fractions and enjoy discovering how many different ways they can make a pizza. It is a nice size for both my 5 & 2 year old. They use the pizzas for pretend cooking in their kitchen as well as math time.

We bought this for a gift. Our child loved this toy when she was small. I hear it was a big hit with the little one we bought it for. As for us, I used index cards and wrote fractions on them that corresponded to the fractions on the pizza slices. We made a game out of it. You draw a card and then get a slice of pizza tthat matches the fraction on your card. The first person to have a full pizza is the winner. Our family loved playing this game.
