This is a great product for kids to practice thier multiplication facts on their own! My son used them at school and asked me for them as we toiled through learning his math facts. I was happy that he had a fun way to learn on his own. It doesn't mean that you don't have to work with your kids but it means that they have something fun and non-electronic to learn with too!

My 4th grader loves to review her math facts this way. Much more fun than a worksheet. The only drawback might be that you could easily pick out the correct answer when there are only a few choices, even if you might not be able to say the correct answer without looking at the choices. For this reason, I would use them just as review/reinforcement, and not rely completely on them to assess whether a child really knows the facts. Still, they are a great and fun addition to a math program, and I'm buying others for my younger children.

Our school district uses these in 3rd grade math classes and I got it for my 2nd grade son who's good at math. He loves it. It's great for in the car too. I bought the division one while I was at it because he'll be on to that next! We like anything that makes math fun ...!

After teaching for over 30 years, using the wrap ups for Math brings back the FUN in the FUNdamental education of learning multiplication facts. I use them in the classroom to challenge kids in races in which the classroom literally explodes with learning as well as having fun. Mastery of the basic facts is quicker without the drudgery of reciting the same old facts. The easy to use "quick" self check allows each students to see their progress and spot their mistakes. It's the best thing yet since sliced bread!

I have to admit I was a little disappointed with this item. I thought it would be something that my students could use to quiz themselves with and really learn the multiplication table from. It's handy for self-quizzing, but not so much for really learning the tables with.

My grandchildren have so much fun playing with this toy and are learning their multiplication tables at the same time. If a child is having trouble with learning their times, this will help.Multiplication Wrap Ups

This was a stocking stuffer for my 9-year-old, who is in the midst of memorizing times tables. This she can do on her own, and though through process of elimination it can be easier than being tested in other ways, she likes it. We'll see how much use it gets in the coming weeks and months.

This is such a great invention! I bought all the math operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, fractions) for my students and they are very useful. When some students are done working, but others are still at it, they can grab these and practice their facts. Since they give immediate feedback, the students can do these by themselves and also work at them quietly. Sometimes they like to take two or three of the the same Wrap-Ups (I've bought multiple sets over the years) and have races. The Wrap-Ups are pretty sturdy, but they are plastic and so they can break. I haven't had any Wrap-Ups break yet, but it is possible. Teach your students/children to handle them with care and they will last for years. I've had to replace the strings sometimes, but embroidery floss is strong, colorful, and inexpensive and replacements don't need to be done often. I've also bought Wrap-Ups for other various skills (they aren't only made for math)and my students enjoy those, too. When my children were little they could use them on car trips, even if only to the grocery store, and quickly learned their math facts and other skills that way. I would recommend them to any teacher or parent as an effective way to practice or maintain academic skills.

My second grader is starting to learn multiplication tables in school, and the multiplication wrap-ups are dynamite. Simply dynamite. They are useful to help him "noodle out" the correct answer from the answers given, and it is so encouraging for him to flip it over to see if he got them right. He plays with this constantly in the car -- he likes to teach his pre-school age brother, too -- a captive audience. There's no frustration -- if he messes up, he just unwinds and tries again.

Perfect for a more hands-on learner, like my little boy -- MUCH more fun than flashcards.

I've ordered division and fractions for him to play with on our summer vacation.
