5.0 out of 5 stars Hit Replay...
The first time I put this CD in my player it stayed in there for weeks. I was immediately attached. Pefectly executed, "The Least of My Concerns" is one of those CD's that will have you hitting the replay button. I never get tired of it and the song "Cries for Freedom", especially, will sound new at every play. Time just makes me appreciate it even more. I have this...

1.0 out of 5 stars Boring!
Every song is one dimensional. It is obvious that the artist is immature and has no interest in sharing with an audience. It is merely self-righteous verbosity with only one point of view - his own selfish existence. You have to wonder if this guy would bother to save a dying dog he's so UN-concerned with any topic other than himself. I think the title is appropriate...

I never get tired of it and the song "Cries for Freedom", especially, will sound new at every play. Time just makes me appreciate it even more. I have this and "Watada" (the artists' second release) and both make me wonder why the best artists in the country go unrecognized by so many.

The reviewer from Sherman Oaks sounds like a malicious ex-lover not a music fan! There is absolutely nothing here to criticize and there is so much to enjoy.

4.0 out of 5 stars A MUST HAVE CD FOR THE NEW MILLENIUM, March 21, 1999

michael chandler's "the least of my concerns" is a phenomenal debut album in all respects. engineered and produced with exquisite care allows the listener to enjoy it on various levels. although the songs can easily be enjoyed on any stereo...i highly recommend headphones to soak the entire experience in. especially when it comes to chandler's lyrical sensibility. this is a thinking persons album...yet is easily attainable even by the most ardent popular music listener. michael chandler deserves kudos and this album should be heard by all going into the 21st century.

5.0 out of 5 stars Artful and honest, tasteful arrangements, cleanly engineered, August 17, 1999
This review is from: Least of My Concerns (Audio CD)
Heartfelt lyrics that will lift your spirit. Well produced and engineered. Definitely a keeper. I remember the first time I met Michael at the University of Miami. He sat in the back of Sightsinging class with his head down, praying not to be called upon. That was then... It is truly inspiring to see how devotion to one's art and belief in one's self can prevail. Congratulations on a brilliant debut.
