Not Bad,

This review is from: New Men's Black Leather Luxury Skeleton Dial Hand-Wind Up Mechanical Wrist Watch (Watch)
The watch is not bad for the price. It's beautiful actually. Yes, you have to wind it almost daily but that's okay knowing that it is very stylish. It keeps time well and I had no problems so far. I was a bit hesitant to buy because of the price for such a nice watch but hey, it was worth it. The strap is very cheap and thin for a male but for the price, you could expect that. Overall, the watch is nice.

IIII is IV,
This review is from: New Men's Black Leather Luxury Skeleton Dial Hand-Wind Up Mechanical Wrist Watch (Watch)
I found this article which should help out those who don't understand the whole IIII over IV Roman numeral argument:"There is a story that a famous clockmaker had constructed a clock for Louis XIV, king of France. The clockmaker had naturally used IV for four. When the clock was shown to the king, he remarked that IIII should have been used instead of IV. When it was explained to him that IV was correct, he still insisted, so that there was nothing to do but change the clock dial. This introduced the custom of using IIII for four. This is probably only a story, however, as IIII occurs long before the time of Louis XIV. And this same story is also told in connection with other monarchs. There is one reason why IIII is preferable to IV, and it may have caused the change. On the other side of the clock dial the VIII is the heaviest number, consisting of four heavy strokes and one light one, as it is usually made. It would destroy the symmetry to have the IV with only two heavy strokes on the other side. Thus IIII with four heavy strokes is much to be preferred. The change may therefore have been made for reasons of symmetry." From Time & Timekeepers, W. I. Milham, The Macmillan Company, New York, 1947, p. 196: As for the watch itself. I looks decent for the cost, but only time will tell. ;)

Looked great but broke within 2 weeks,
This review is from: New Men's Black Leather Luxury Skeleton Dial Hand-Wind Up Mechanical Wrist Watch (Watch)
This watch looked really good and for two weeks functioned well but today the pin broke and can no longer be wond. This is the first winding watch I have ever owned that this has happened. I took the watch to a jeweler to have a look at it just to see if I could get it fixed on the cheap but sadly there was nothing they could do. He also commented on how poor the quality of materials were which isn't too suprising given how cheap this watch is. In conclusion I would say if your going to wear this watch every once and while then it still maybe a good buy but it isn't built well enough to be used daily

Looks expensive and great with all insides visible but feels cheaper than look and is light. Great value and I would recomment. Needs to be wound often. Otherwise I recommend!

I always get compliments,

I always get compliments on this watch; it's beautiful and it looks really classy. I've owned it for about 6 months and I only have nice things to say. I rarely take it off so it's really held up great, the only wear is a bit on the back (probably from sweat). The winder works perfectly and is easy to pull out when you use your thumbnail. Sometimes I forget to wind it (you need to about every 24-30 hours) and it takes a little less than 50 full rotations to get it back to full. There are no markings or words on it other than on the actual metal face which reads in very tiny font "Winner Winner Swiss Made" I'm not sure exactly what this means, but I wouldn't be able to answer the question "What type of watch is that?" or "Who makes it?" I usually just say that it's a skeleton watch and make people guess how much they think I bought it for (hint: it's usually a high number haha). The only reason I can't give it 5 stars is because the strap is super cheap and mine broke after only a month or two. I took it to a watch booth in my mall and bought the cheapest strap ($20) and it's a million times better (and a lot more comfortable, I recommend doing this).

It looks great, I just wished the seconds function worked properly. It stops frequently and in doing so, disrupts my efforts in properly being able to tell the time. I'll never be able to correctly answer the question, what time is it?

It is acceptable for this price. But the holes in the dial does not align with the holes in the mechanism, and looks not so good.
