While this would be a good frog for a broadsword, it can't be laced small enough for a rapier. However, someone with some leather skills can cut it down and punch new holes to fit a rapier scabbard. The leather looks sturdy and everything seems well put together. Just too big for a rapier.

The only only drawback of this product is that the string that tightens or loosens the frog is very stiff and dry, it already broke :(
However all u have to do is use a thin black shoelace instead so it retains it usability and visual appeal.
Definitely a 9 out of 10 for any sword enthusiast.

It fit my awkward short sword perfectly! The sword is a bowie-knife style and this leather frog holds it tight enough that it will not jostle around and loose enough to make unsheathing it a breeze! It's more than I asked for and then some!!!!
