There were no instructions included. I bought this to make some simple leather bracelets. If I am using this correctly, it does not work for leather - at all. The snaps, etc are very flimsy and they don't secure through the thickness and do not seem appropriate for leather or thick fabric.
I would not recommend this set. It looks like you get what you pay for.

This product is complete junk. There is insufficient leverage on the items to connect the pieces. Plus the unit is the wrong size for the snaps included in the kit.

took a few days for the item to arrive, but i love the kit. I've been looking for a punch kit for some time this kit may not have the best looking workmanship but i'm certain they were built to last. and so much cheaper than other punch kit (such as crock a dial, and other eyelet setters i've checked out). i wish it came with a better selection and quality of (silver and gold) eyelets. but i was happy with the results using the tools.

I'm a newbie to sewing and bought this item for the snap pliers for a project I'm working on. For the same price as other similar products, I also got 2 extra tools. Shipping time was reasonable, and I have had no experience with the customer service department. The tools seem to be high quality, heavy, and well-made. The reason I am giving it 3 stars is because there are no instructions. Again, I am new to all of this, and I have NO IDEA how to use the snap pliers (much less the other things). I think I could figure out the leather punch tool, but I'm not even sure what the eyelet pliers are for. If anyone can give me a tutorial, please reply. I'm anxious because another reviewer said the snap pliers were the wrong size for the snaps included: I didn't know you needed different size snap pliers! Eek! I wish this product came with much more information, both in way of instructions and description. So, I don't know if this product deserves 5 stars or just 1 b/c I can't figure out how to use it. :(

The price was enticing. The leather punch works, but one of the snap tools has a loose piece and does not line up correctly, so I can only assemble the male ends of the snaps. The snaps are very small (4mm) and are not meant for large or heavy duty items, they are meant for thin to moderate cloth. Had I known what I was in for, I would not have purchased this.

These things do their job. Really easy to handle. They store neatly. Not much grip strength needed.
