I purchased this because I wanted something plain and basic to protect the outside of my phone from scratches.

The shells snap on easily enough, though you may have to maneuver it around a little to get it just right. Parts of the seam stick out in several places (and I've only had this for less than a week). The belt clip works but feels a bit wobbly when snapped on (you can choose not to put it on though). The leather is a little shiny and not matte (if you're wondering).

All in all, for the money, I'm satisfied enough. We'll see what happens in the coming weeks.

Update: I finally took the cover off after about three months. It left scratches on my phone. My phone seems to be faring better without the cover. Oh well, it was inexpensive so I got what I paid for. If I could rate it again, I would give it two stars.

I had a regular leather case it it was great. This is better. I was worried the hard plastic would make it too bulky...but no. It fits grteat in my pocket. No stupid belt clips. The hard plastic gives it extra protection also.

This case actually ruined the back of my phone. As well, the screen and M logo don't line up with the casing. The case doesn't allow the phone to be opened easily, you have to use both hands to yank it open. The back part of the casing will damage the battery cover of your phone, as it damaged mine. The battery cover now curves away from the phone. If you love your phone, do NOT buy this case.
