Had to have the soundtrack after seeing the movie. Wonderful, original 1920s style music. It is an album that must be heard from beginning to end as the music tells the story.

Leave it to composer Randy Newman to capture the essence of the Roaring Twenties in this wonderful movie soundtrack. The jazzy numbers marvelously fit the time when professional gridiron glory was making tentative strides in becoming as popular as the college game.

Along with being the "Golden Age of Sports," the era was the "Jazz Age." Newman masterfully creates 20 numbers which depict those pop culture aspects of the 1920s.

Leatherhead's soundtrack really captures the moment of the movie. The music of the 1920's is alive in this soundtrack and sounds better than ever! I highly recommend this for anyone who is a fan of classic music of the beginning of the 20th century.

My husband saw this movie and loved the music. He can't wait for the DVD to come out so we can purchase it. He spends hours listening to the CD we purchased from Amazon.com of the sound track of Leatherheads. It brings back many wonderful memories for him, and since he has dementia, those memories are very precious to him. We sent one to his lifetime friend as well and it was a wonderful gift to him too.

I enjoyed the variety of music in this CD very much. Good quality. Would recommend to all.

Randy Newman is a great composer and highly under-rated. We are in soundtrack heaven with this one.
