Get the Leatherman Pulse instead,
By
This review is from: Leatherman 61070103H PST II with Leather Sheath (Tools & Home Improvement)
The Leatherman(tm) Pulse is the replacement for the PST II. It has the same tools but they all lock. Also the handles have been curved so that they don't pinch your hand when you bear down on the pliers. Why are locking tools important? Well when you use the screwdriver it won't close on your thumb (caught me).On the downside, the Pulse is slightly bigger than the PST, because of the wider handle, but you are going to carry it on your belt you won't notice the difference. Plus the thumb lock requires some finger strength but if you can open the blades you can probably roll the thumb lock to close them. The PST II, is an improvement over the PST, and the Pulse is an improvement over the PST II.

Great Little Tool,

This Leatherman is great tool, I have two, one in my tackle box, and one for my son. It does the job every time, great for fishing. The knife blade never seems to get dull, and I've had them for about a year! I highly recommend them.

I've had this particular model for the past 9 years and it works great. Someone else said that the tools don't lock, but mine do and they always have. All of the tools are still in great working condition, nothing is broken, and I use it pretty heavily as a stage technician. I truly consider myself a Leatherman girl (over Gerber anyday), and this tool is great for someone like myself who has smaller hands, but needs a good amount of tools to get the job done. I recently upgraded to the Blast only because I need some more tools in my Leatherman after all these years.

I use my Leatherman everyday. I am a sales associate for a Chevrolet dealership. I have to take license plates on and off every day. I also have other minor things I use my Leatherman for. How did I ever get along with out it?
