I own almost every Leatherman tool made, plus most of the competitors. I love them! The Sideclip is the one I use daily because of it's convenience. It has all the necesities, and is compact enough to not get in the way. When I head to the attic where I don't want to carry multiple tools, this gets cliped to my belt. Other times it resides in my office where it is used for everything you can imagine. Leatherman makes lots of other neat gadgets that fascinate me, but this is the one that I really use.

I've had leatherman tools for years and loved every one of them. The only time I've bought a new one is if I lose the old one. I recommend the sideclip version because it has all the tools you need for almost any task plus it's light, handy and practically invulnerable.

I have finally found a multitool to replace my Swiss Army Knife. With the addition of a clip and it's slim profile, this Leatherman is the nicest and easiest carry of all the full featured multitools I've seen. If I go out to the jobsite, I still carry my Gerber with me, but this tool is perfect for everything else I do in a day.

The pliers part is made of softer metal. I've tried once to cut thin steel wire with my SideClip and quickly ruined the pliers, so it became very hard to open and close ever since :( The rest of the tools seem fine.

This is my first Leatherman. For everyday carrying around you can't beat it. Not all of the bells and whistles of some of the others but half of the weight. Everything opens easily for me. The sideclip keeps it easily accessible and not weighing down your pocket. Even the design of the sideclip makes it easy to get on and off. If the sideclip matters to you, you won't be disappointed with the rest of it. (By the way, I did the free shipping and it still showed up in less than four days!!)

I use this tool for almost everything; at work, hunting, fishing and home. It is very easy to carry, either clipped to your belt or inside the pocket. Very well designed with a rugged endurance.

Great tool; very sturdy, fits well on the sheath and is as durable as it gets.

I've carried the Leatherman Sideclip every single day for 5 years, and it has come in handy about six million times. The bottle opener has seen thousands of beer bottles pass under its loving tooth, and several cans of beans too. Each and every screw driver bit has tasted the heads of hundreds of screws, and turned them. The knife has cut and whittled and trimmed and sliced and poked and slashed so many times, and still looks and feels brand new. The pliers have been used many many times for many various tasks, and are still fully functional. I've even used the wire cutter part to cut through copper sheets, and it is still in good working order. It's too bad this product is out of production, because it is just fantastic. Get one if you can!

I love this tool! I've owned many different multi-tools, and while some offer features this little leatherman doesn't have, the Sideclip offers all I really need: a good knife blade, a couple of screwdriver tips, and needle-nose pliers with wire cutters. Most usefull, though, is its handiness; relatively compact and light, I clip it in a pocket in the morning and forget it is there until I need it. Like all Leatherman products the Sideclip is solid and well made, plus it is cheap at thirty bucks. Great tool.

I've had my sideclip for over 5 years now, and it's just getting better with time. Smooth action, all the tools you need on the job but not too many. I'm a stage rigger, so the sideclip attaches right to my fall protection harness. It works great since I can't always bring the right tool for the job 120 feet in the air. All leatherman products I have used have surpassed my expectations, which are high as I own a Wave, a PST, and now two sideclips. A sturdy tool, I've alrady bought another one and keep it in storage just in case this one breaks and they stop making them.
