HEAVY-DUTY,

This is a real man's multi-tool. Pros: 1) Will beat-up any of the other multi's in a street fight. 2) The Best file on any multitool ever made. One side is rough-cut and the other side is an even rougher cross-cut! Leave the wimpy diamond files found on other leathermans for fish hooks. 3) This thing can even be used as a hammer if need be. Nothing is going to snap off. 4) Great engineering. Cons: Conclusion:

In the past I have used the Leatherman Super Tool quite extensively. The only thing I could really gripe about with the original Super Tool was that when using them as pliers the handles "cut" into my hands. You probably know what I mean it you've used Leatherman tools before. The Leatherman guys put rounded edges on the Super Tool 200, and it makes a world of difference. You can grasp the pliers as firmly as you need too without pain. And it doesnt have that anoying sliding plastic lock like my Gerber. Two other nice features/improvements are the thumb lock-release and the key ring has been moved and can be folded out of the way. Other than that nothing much has changed. I love the rounded grip.If you are looking for a multi-tool get this one, you wont regret it. I cant think of many reasons to get something else, unless you want something slightly smaller, slightly cheaper, or one with tiny scissors or an impressive Rem-grit saw (Gerber). I prefer this tool to the other leathermans to my Gerber. ...

I carry this tool on an everyday basis and can not imagine myself without it. It's not only a work tool for my job, but a very handy tool for every day challenges. I've used the Letherman tool since my days in the military, and today I use it as much as I used to use it. It's almost unbreakable and can be submitted to all kind of conditions and environments. It will never fail.

This and the Victorinox tool are probably the biggest multitools on the market (I'm not counting the Kershaw locking plier, since it's really in a separate category). The Super Tool has thicker handles which allows one more tool per side than the original Leatherman. I especially like the serrated blade, which is very impressive. Another big improvement is the locking mechanism, a big improvement over the original. The rounded grip doesn't cut into your hands like on the earlier version of this tool, and the extra size and length of the Super Tool make the ruler more practical. I own a couple of dozen multitools from various makers and this one remains one of my top 3 favorites. It might be a little heavy for some people to carry around on their belts but I don't mind the extra heft as the extra size makes it a much sturdier and more impressive tool. Overall another great product from Tim Leatherman.

Perfect for computer Pros, and other,
This review is from: Leatherman 63050103H Super Tool 200 (Tools & Home Improvement)
I work setting up networks. This tool is perfect for that job. It's sturdy and reliable and the knifes are the best I seen in a multi-tool like this. Letterman also has a reputation that surpasses Swiss-Army. I used to own a Swiss and it broke on me. The sales-person presented me with this one as the best in the store. It has safety mechanisms, it is just excellent. Feels great in your hand, and it can help you do everything from cutting wires, to wood, meats, fish, etc. More than you ever need in a tool. Weighting at 9 pounds, I found myself using it as a hammer from time to time. Mine came with a small adapter and a standard set of five screw drivers varying from torx to different size Philips and flat. A kit that is upgradeable depending on the heads you need for the job.
All in all, probably more than you ever need, build to last forever, definitely the strongest and best I've ever seen.

The Leatherman Super-Tool 200 is for the most part the finest tool of it's' kind.
It has the largest knife blades, a very secure locking mechanism, the best saw, as well the widest variety of flat screwdriver sizes. It will do just about anything. The only down side to this tool for me is the needle-nose pliers, not much good for a quick turn on a nut or bolt. But if you only want to carry one tool on your belt, this is the one to have!

If every company produced products like Leatherman and backed their products like Leatherman, the world would be a better place. I use my Supertool every day and feel lost without it. It's like a comprehensive tool kit in one small and sturdy package. Even if I forget every other tool I need for a job, I usually can still manage if I have my Supertool with me. Thanks Leatherman for making something actually worth every penny I paid... times 1,000!

As the name implies supertool has almost everything (except for an oxygen tank) that you need for any household or office emergencies. What makes supertool unique is that the blades locks to prevent accidental opennings. A must in home or in the car. I should know I tried others Swiss Army,Gerber Wegner etc and Leatherman is the only ones I used.

Indispensible Geek Tool.,

The only thing stopping me from getting a Super Tool 200 is the fact that I have a Super Tool already. 7 years of abuse and it still hasn't failed me.
This, an AMP crimp tool, a fluke NetTool and a suitably sized LART are the only tools a network geek needs. It is entirely possible to install a cisco 12000 series router using only "The Leatherman". Word of advice: Do not lend anyone your leatherman, they might try and keep it.

I own a Leatherman supertool, and it has served me faithfully for a long time. When Leatherman came out with the "200" I knew instantly that I had to upgrade, and I haven't been disappointed. The curled edges and lock releases were perfect additions to a nearly perfect tool. Obviously, a multi-tool is no replacement for a well stocked tool box. Be especially careful with electrical work. I was removing a Battery from a truck and accidentally touched the terminal screw and the frame at the same time. The arc ruined the tip of the medium flat tip screwdriver. Of all the multi-tools I've tried though, this is the best one hands down, and for what it is, nothing compares.
