We gave this knife to our son for Christmas several years ago. Although he didn't admit it at that time, he didn't think he'd use it much. In reality, however, it soon became a prized possession! He can't even count how many times he has used (or allowed other people to borrow) the knife because of the various useful tools it contains. It always seems to have the right thing at the right time for all kinds of expected and unexpected tasks. Quality workmanship and super-easy-to-carry size!

My husband got a small leatherman several years ago that I promptly took for myself. Unfortunately I lost it.. it must have fallen out of my purse.

I bought myself this cute little leatherman (Love the Color!!) as a birthday present for myself this past year, and I just LOVE it. It's very small, but very high quality. I am always finding uses for it.. especially the scissors. Just a few days ago, I was with a friend and needed to wrap a birthday present en route to the recipient's house. Had the tape, but nothing to cut the wrapping paper with! No worries, I have my Leatherman! It made quick work of it! Everyone I know is so impressed with it, they have to go get their own. At first they think I'm kind of hokey for being a female that carries a pocket knife, till they see it in action.

I keep mine on my key ring so it doesn't slip out of my purse, (or stolen by one of my teen daughters!)

The price is right for such a handy little tool!-- My only complaint, if you want to call it that, is the little "sleeve" they give you to store it in is "pleather," and has stretched to where it slips off the Leatherman a little to easily now.

Love this ... I am not a 'knife guy', never have been but about 10 years ago I picked one of these up for hiking/backpacking and gradually ended up carrying it around all the time because it is so light and useful. At one point the pliers broke and Leatherman replaced the unit for free. Then I lost that one and bought another one because I realized how much I depend on it. This year for Christmas I bought one for each of my sons and they were happy to get them. Must be I've become a 'Leatherman guy' ... the point is this item is light and very useful ... when you don't need it, you don't know it's there ... when you do need it, it is very useful and you'll be glad to have it.

I work on the flight line for the military, and I use this on a nearly daily basis. I bought it used to save a few bucks, but still its overall appeal is the same. I like that I can still be a girl (nail file, and it being PINK!) and still be tough (everything else). I wouldn't suggest it for a pocket knife if that's all you're going to use it for. It's very small, but it does what it can well.

A side note - there are TWO versions of this: P4 and S4. The ONLY difference between the two is the main fold-out tool; either the pliers (P4, this version) or scissors (S4).

I purchased this for my husband. I didn't know there was more than one - there are three of this size and each has a slightly different set of tools. He likes this and uses it often. The quality is very good.
