You cant go wrong with Leatherman...not today and not 5 years ago. I am in the IT field and have used one of these for a long time. My first tool was a valuable asset to me in everyday life until someone asked for it and I could not deny giving it to them at that very moment. It was time for a upgrade anyway.

This item popped up on GoldBox and voila - what a chance to get a great piece at a great price.....now with built in locking for the sharper objects and the ability to use bits for various purposes.

The item arrived quickly (amazon prime rocks).... It comes with a nylon sheath which I think is strong enough that it could possibly hold a bullet back... :-)

I would highly recommend that you buy the extra set of bits so you can use the screwdriver portion for many purposes.

wow! I'll start off by saying that I have owned a Leatherman SUPERTOOL since 2000. I bought that tool on my first deployment to Kuwait for Operation Southern Watch. I have used that tool thru 7 more 120 day deployments as a jet engine mechani to Afghanistan, Pakistan, Kuwait and Africa. I have abused that tool and it has not failed me yet. I still have the supertool but I saw the 25 Anniversary Edition and just had to get it. The Wave looks WAY better in person. The picture doesnt show how highly polished this thing really is. It's the standard Leatherman Wave, the only difference is the high polish, 25 Anniv with signature emblem and the silver/gray nylon sheath with the 25 yr Anniv logo attached to the front. All in all the Wave multitool is the best on the market and now you can buy this upgraded one for the same price as you can get the regular Wave at most stores. BUY this with confidence, you wont regret it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been using Leatherman ever since I started sailing. It's an amazing tool that will keep you prepared for any situation. The leatherman is not only a great tool for the outdoors, but also for DIYers, hobbyists, and hackers.

I absolutely love my 25th Anniversary Tim Leatherman Signature Wave!

This tool is so solidly designed and incredibly versatile. I find it difficult to put down at times - it's a bit of a masterpiece in its own regard.

I can easily justify making this multi-tool part of my everyday wardrobe. I recall several instances from the past in which I would already have benefit from having had it with me.

I have had several of these and I thought I would really like this one. This one binds really bad on opening and closeing to the pliers. I am an electrican who deals with a lot of four foot tubes that you have to bend the ends off to know where you are in a case. Try doing doing that with tubes in your hands and trying to open up a stubborn leatherman. Not good.

The rest of it is top notch
