I like the look of the case, I wear it at the office and it doesnt look out of place when i wear it next to my cell phone. However, the velcro sucks! It lasted me a week or two, and then the loop side becomes a mess and the hooks no longer grab. Luckily my fiancee can sew, im going to have her replace the loop side. A clip/ snap button/ or magnet would have been a better option.

I bought this Sheath for my new skeletool CX. It fit perfect and provide good protection to the Sk Tool. Also is a convenient way to carry your Sk tool.

This sheath came with my black oxide-coated Leatherman. While it is designed for use with Molle systems, I thought that I might be able to adapt it for belt use instead. After a few days of trying it, I ordered a plain vanilla nylon sheath designed for belt carry instead. Here's why:

* Vertical strap works well with Molle gear, but is too loose for securing to a belt. It lets the sheath bounce up and down and slide way too much for comfort.
* Horizontal straps aren't quite wide enough to accommodate my normal 1.5" belt, so no horizontal carry.
* No convenient little extra slots for additional stuff, as with the civilian-style nylon sheath.

On the other hand, this sheath fits a 2 oz can of pepper spray perfectly, and is very solidly built.

I bought one of these about 2 years ago to carry my Leatherman in while on duty. This sheath can take a beating (literally). My multi-tool has never fallen out, even when running or worse.

Easily transitions from duty belt to molle vest or bag attachment.

OK, my fault for not checking up on this more carefully, but this is not for normal belt use. 'MOLLE' is a type of attachment system for use with military type equipment.

If you want a sheath for normal belt use for the Skeletool you bought on Amazon, you are out of luck. You will need to look elsewhere for the Leatherman leather sheath 909000 or nylon sheath 944401, neither of which are available here.

I am rating this 3 stars because I can not ding it or praise it as I can not use it. It is not worth returning, return shipping would be almost what I paid for it.

If I could do it all over again, I would have just ordered a MOLLE single mag pouch. The leatherman sheath is not very sturdy and my leatherman Supertool 300 is not held in very securely. I guess it will work.

I'll try to keep this short and simple. I bought this sheath as an extra for my Leatherman Mut. It looked pretty much identical to the sheath i currently own so i didn't look that much into it. I loved the high quality tan sheath that came with the Mut and thought i'd love this the same. It's not horrible but its just not made with the best quality. The velcro seems to be a little on the cheap side, it doesn't have a place to put the the scope adjusting tool that came with the Mut, and lastly its a lot thinner and less durable than the tan one they provided with the Mut. Overall its not horrible but i don't believe ill be using it much.

This case was exactly what I expected, it holds the leatherman surge very well so that it won't fall out. I highly recommend this case.

For the price, this pouch isn't bad. I feel like this thing was rushed and needs to be refined more. I like the "premium nylon sheath" more as a every day item.

What this needs is:
slightly wider sheath, it is a little too narrow.
The elastic loops on the side like the premium nylon for button battery lights and the bit driver. Everything is too crowded in this.
MOLLE seems iffy, The vertical belt carry might be iffy.

I like that the construction is a little heavier than the other sheath. Having MOLLE capabilities is always nice. The closure is much better than previous ones. I like how the drain grommet actually has metal this time around instead of a crappy hole cut out. It also looks cooler IMO.

This sheath does not like my surge too much. With my 40 bits, replacement file, and bit driver, I can hardly fit the surge in it.

I got this for my supertool 300. I love the 300 but it is a fat heavy BEAST, and quickly wears out the premium sheath that comes with it. So I got this Molle sheath for it. It fits the 300 perfectly; it looks like it was designed for it. Made from heavyweight nylon webbing with double embroidered stitching and ready to take all kinds of abuse. (BTW, this Molle sheath comes standard with the black oxide 300 model, and worth the extra $10 IMHO).

Clear up some confusion, the Molle works perfectly on a belt. For belt use, right from leatherman's instruction manual: (1) Unsnap the strap. (2) pull the strap out thru both the lower and upper Molle bands. (3) Then feed the strap thru the *lower* band, (4) loop it up around the lower band and snap it back in. This provides a solid belt loop that can fit a 3" wide web pistol belt. I've been using it on my army riggers belt for months without any problems at all.

It has a small pocket in the inside back. With the 300 beast, its a close fit already, and may fit a bit extender and a bit or two. but with a leatherman wave or charge it will hold a whole bit accessory set or small flashlight or whatever have you.
