At least it's made in U.S.,
This review is from: Leatherman Crater c33Tx Combo Straight/Serrated Blade Knife (Tools & Home Improvement)
- The blade has a little play. Needs to be lubed right out of the box and need another knife to open hard plastic packaging. Clip interference with the flat head driver, mine needed to be lubed thoroughly to solve this interference. Speed opening system works after proper lubrication, but needs to be pushed with aggression to work reliably. The flat and phillips drivers don't lock. No inner liner which makes the handle lighter, but also makes it bendable with very little effort. Serrating isn't very aggressive, but is still very functional.
+ Seems to have a nice coating to prevent rust, and a good Warranty. Nice width to it considering the additional tools. Has a nice little groove for easy thumb operation when using the blade. Blade is SHARP!! Which should be a norm for any knife out of the box. The bottle opener/ hook is why I love this "at home tool box knife". Is great for those I need a bottle opener and don't want to clean up to get one from inside moments. Or Has come in handy at a party when a bottle opener is M.I.A. I purchased this knife at a hardware store for less than posted, and keep it in my glove box or tool chest. Out of sight, but not out of mind especially when I need a bottle opener.

My "Go-To" Knife,
By
This review is from: Leatherman Crater c33Tx Combo Straight/Serrated Blade Knife (Tools & Home Improvement)
This is by far the favored knife of my collection. It's the one I carry while camping, hiking or just need to cut something at home. My favorite feature is its blade opening system. It took me a few minutes to figure out, but once I did, I've determined that it's the easiest opening knife I've ever owned. There have been plenty of times when I've only had one hand available and have had no problems opening and using it.
The carbineer also works as a bottle opener. Like mentioned in another review, closing it is not very self intuitive, but I felt a little silly once I figured it out and realized how easy it is; all you have to do is press it down, then fold it in. The bottle opener works well, but you have to place it over the top, snap the cap then press down. This is opposite from most bottle openers, but, again, it's easy once you do it a couple times. My only beef with this knife is it's thickness. When wearing baggier shorts, I can't tell that it's there, however, when in jeans, it's noticeable. That being said, it's a lot easier to carry than my Gerber or SOG multi-tools. So, in summary, buy this knife. At $28 (at the time of this review), you will not regret it.

I love knives, so i had to have this. It's a nice knife, though it took some time to get used too. The tip is a little too pointey for me. The knife did not come with directions; which i usually would not look at anyway. But for the life of me, i could not figure out how to close the carabiner / bottle opener. I found directions on a pdf, and walla, I got it closed. Not my favorite but a nice knife for the price. I would recomend it, made in USA. Shipping was OUTSTANDING AS ALWAYS !!!!

It is tempting to say that this is a great tool for the price, which would be true but misleading. This is a great tool ... and just happens to have an attractive price.I have owned a Leatherman multi-tool for >10 years, which served me well through significant abuses. However, it serves a role limited by the frequency with which I am willing to strap the leather carrying case onto my belt and have it jut out from my waist line. By contrast, I now clip this knife inside my pocket daily as a matter of habit. In the course of 3 months, I have found each tool useful several dozen times (screwdrivers, bottle opener, and knife). Smooth operation requires break-in, which I expected. I simply worked each tool through its range of motion with some CLP Break-free. The flat blade screwdriver remains the tightest to operate, but not offensively so. The knife blade locks in place with a quick flick of my index finger, and provides a sharp cutting edge. I give strong marks for fit, form, function, and frugality. For reference, I did not carry a knife routinely until now. I am only comparing this against carrying nothing and carrying a full multi-tool.

This pocket knife is all I expected and more. It's a Leatherman and its a quality made tool. Nice features; like the one finger blade snap, the bottle opener, yet still nice and compact to be a pocket knife.

I searched and searched for a replacement knife for my husband (as he had lost his) and decided on this one as it had great reviews, was made in the U.S. and the price was right. The way I know if my husband likes something I get and is of good quality is that he uses it. I'd purchased him a pocket knife before and it sat in a drawer - I was so ticked off when a friend purchased him one a few months later and he wore it everywhere. So I am happy to report that he now clips this pocket knife on everyday!

This knife is a great little multi-tool. I owned the previous version, but inexplicably lost that someplace(worst day ever, as I loved that knife). This new one has been an excellent replacement. I literally use this thing at least once a day (and I work an office job)! It's tightening electrical sockets at a friend's house, cutting a loose strand from a shirt, or opening a bottle of beer. It's the best tool on the market.

A great pocket click knife. Well made. Awesome features from a famous maker.
A little bit heavy compare to the regular one without the crews driver but it's worth and handy to have those features with you. Love it. Not regrets.

I had the previous model (C305) which is now discontinued. It had grips that could be held. The grips on both sides of the knife for this model are too thin. The blade is good. Like the older model, this keeps an edge and is easy to sharpen. These knives are difficult to find at stores, anymore. I wish that Leatherman would re-make the C305 model along with this one. Sometimes older is better.
