The universal tool adapter is a marvel that fits perfectly into many Leatherman multitools like Wave, etc. When you fit this and use the multitool, it feels solid and sure with no twist during even very heavy usage like removing door screws.

The adapter takes the regular hexbits and it's 3 position lock facility can be quite useful in tight corners and cluttered machine environments. The adapter is built like a bull, and can be expected to last a very very long time.

Mounts easily to the 'Charge', allows use of any standard hex bit or driver. Can also be right-angled for more torque. Works just fine, but at this point, my pockets are getting a little heavy and I'd just as soon go for the full-sized tool kit. That said, it's been a big help a few times.

I own this. It will take any 1/4" bit retained by a internal spring...there is no magnet. You can put a #3 Phillips bit in it and break a steel screw in torque...very strong. Angle adjustment offers increased torque. Ugly but effective.
