I fell in love with this book early on in my quest for metaphysical ideas. In fact, I own two copies. Perhaps it's because the author took me on a journey in Spirit, showing me my self-completeness in God, where I could dwell in the secret place of the most High and be fed with the Bread of Life. Certainly in your life there comes a time when you are asked (or sense the need) to leave your nets--your customary course of events, job or occupation, for something higher. There comes through a study of this book a realization that everything you need to bring happiness and meaning to life will be supplied as you leave the past behind and venture into new territory. "The scales of life can be balanced only in infinite terms; and when there is an awareness of the Infinite, the present, the past, and the future all merge into one unfolding Reality." Inspiring reading!

One of the best books I've ever read in the spiritual genre. Beautifully written. Thank you Joel S. Goldsmith.

I am a New Thought teacher and I just finished a very powerful 9-week class based on this book. I have read it 3 times already and plan to start a 4th soon. The people in my class (ranging from new to these ideas to another seasoned teacher of New Thought) were all very empowered and affected by this book.

Be aware that this book was originally written in the 60's, so the language is a little sexist and old-fashioned. But that doesn't take away from the power of the Truth it teaches. If you use even a few of the ideas in your everyday life, things WILL change for the better.

I have been studying Universal Truth for 30 years and this particular book has done more for me in a shorter time than the the majority of other books I have read. Caveat: You must use the ideas, not just read about them, for them to be a powerful tool for change!

I highly recommend this work for anyone who is seriously playful about BEING the Presence of Love and light in the world.
