5.0 out of 5 stars Great documentary!!!, September 9, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Lebanon: Imprisoned Splendor [VHS] (VHS Tape)
Like Daizy, I also felt that I needed to understand what really happened in Lebanon and how the civil war affected the lives of so many innocent Lebanese. Unlike Daizy who was around when the war broke out, I wasn't. I began to hear about Lebanon through the news on television and my father reading the Arabic newspaper in the late 80's, early 90's. It is now, in 1999 that I have a clearer view of what happened to Lebanon and to the Lebanese people. I would like to congratulate Daizy for making this film and encourage all young Australian-Lebanese (even around the world) who want to know more about Lebanon to watch this film. Don't get me wrong, this film doesn't give you all the answers you are looking for but you are given a new perspective about Lebanon and the civil war, through the eyes of a young Australian Lebanese.
