I admit when we purchased this we were taking a gamble. Glad we did. As an avid camping family we already own 2 other tents--but our family has gotten bigger so we needed another tent. THIS TENT IS AWESOME. It sets up in minutes and unlike some other models we checked out at the local specialty stores--this one is sturdy, well made and has already proven durable. I don't think you will find anything like this in the product description so I will share briefly our experience. First off we live in Buffalo--it goes from sunny with a chance of warm to stormy, snowy with a chance of cloudy in a matter of seconds--no joke LOL Last weekend we were supposed to have good sunny weather for our camp trip--instead we got rain, high winds, hail, and random acts of nature that could damage a house including but not limited to tree limbs falling on us--scared the daylights out of us but you know what the tent was not only still standing but still looked brand new out of the box--after all of that. It was awesome, the design must be the key and the quality of the materials used. I highly recommend this to anyone--it is a steal of a bargain. Oh and it is like 7 feet high in the center so you can actually stand up! Did I mention that it was super easy to set up--two poles and up it goes! I am a mom, and set this up by myself without a problem while watching stuff cooking on the grill :) Oh the only thing I did not use that came with the tent were the tent stakes--NOT because there was anything wrong with them only because some years ago my mom bought me as a gift these heavy duty ones in different colors. She went camping with us and I always use them when she comes so she's her gift was appreciated. She gave me enough tent stakes for 20 tents LOL. So that being said I cannot speak for the stakes--they seem standard that come with any tent. Truth be told the ones my mom got me years ago are still carried at Walmart they are metal with hard plastic color protectors for your mallet and they are thicker than the standard that comes with any tent and they hold the tent down in any conditions--this is not to say anything bad about the ones included with this tent. THIS IS THE MOST AWESOME AND REASONABLE TENT I have ever purchased! I highly recommend it.

I spent about 3-4 hours researching the various tent options for my husband and my first camping trip. My main requirement was that I wanted a tent big enough for a queen size air mattress, the dog, and our bags and big enough to stand up and get dressed in. This tent was perfect!!! Everyone else was jealous! AND my husband, who's a stranger to all things camping and NOT a handy man, figured out how to put up the tent by himself (or so he thinks, hehe). But anyway, it was pretty easy and we were doing it by the light of our headlights!

This tent fit us all beautifully with a perfect amount of room to dress! A definite 5 stars,,

tent arrived with broken pole clip. returned and replaced. i set up the second tent, and following sewn-in tent instructions (i should add that the included paper instructions were for some other tent model! to spray with water to "pre condition" the tent, i found water dripping in through the door zipper. all along the bottom. the door zipper and door screen zipper attach next to each other, with fabric between them. the fabric soaks up water and leaks it into the tent. puddles along the front. if there was a flap to protect the zipper this may not happen. but, no flap, and water runs in. i also noticed numerous flaws in the screen material. i questioned how well the screen would hold up. i returned the tent.

It has been many years since I last went tent camping, so materials may have changed. This tent was nice and roomy, not REAL EASY to put up, instructions were very limited and took a few minutes to figure out how to assembly. It did rain very heavy the first night and the tent did leak a very little. The entry door was a little complicated with all the zippers for the flap and the screen.
The tent stakes that come with are very short, I suggest taking differen't stakes with you, the ground was loose soil and with the rain they kept pulling out.

This tent is a regular tent with poles that you have to spend the 10-15 minutes to set up... nothing "instant" or "pop-up" about it - as it was described in the product features.
