Lo volvió a hacer! Magnífico álbum en el cuál plasma su talento artístico y su buen humor. No cabe duda que lo hecho en México sigue y seguirá estando bien hecho.
Altamente recomendable.

One of the most-difficult challenges for any music artist is to generate new ideas that don't rehash existing ideas. And in his latest album, "Leccion de Vuelo", Aleks Syntek may have achieved this objective, with some ideas to spare.

The opening track, "Superficie Lunar," captures Syntek's youthful style of his "pre-Bienvenido" days. Yet is more-daring, with improvisation and exotic percussion cast in the old-school rock format. "Historias de Danzon...." is my favorite track on the album, combining a haunting acoustic fabric with a "techno" edge. "La Dona Muerte" is another daring tune, in the Tex-Mex style. With the artful, unpredictable harmonies and rhythms, it may be Syntek's most-brilliant composition of the CD. The emotional roller coaster "Intocable" may become Song of the Year. The original guitar hook and achingly-beautiful lyrics could make this song a timeless classic. "Hasta El Fin...." is a hard-hitting party tune a la Bon Jovi. "Natalia" is about Aleks' adorable hija, with her cute vocal gestures adorning a pleasant jazz-like setting. "Laberinto" may be modern pop, yet is so musical, you realize it's a true original. "Quien Soy" is a folksy, down-to-earth acoustic duet, my second-favorite tune on the CD. "Tu Hechizo" has a "Wang Chung" style dance flavor. "Entra" is unmistakably "Beatles"... With a John Lennon-like depth that is often lacking in other efforts to re-create the spirit of the Fab Four. And the title track, "Leccion de Vuelo", an experimental mix of electronic and acoustic, will leave the listener feeling as if the album is "unfinished business"..... Stay tuned....

The sound quality of this CD bucks the recent "loudness wars" trend in popular music. Like some of Syntek's other recordings, the sonics are exceptional. Kudos to Armando Avila for yet another sonic gem.

Brilliant music knows no limits, and flies to new, exotic places. A lesson, or leccion, that transcends language, culture, and generation.

"Leccion de vuelo" is a very nice album. this guy has style and class.
I really didn't waste my money,all the songs are good.He has not a powerfull voice but, it is very nice and soft to my hears.

My favs:
Intocable.- nice ballad.
Laberinto.-with belanova. one of the best tracks.pop dance song.
Entra.- it's a nice piece.
Tu hechizo.- it sounds like a retro style ,very 70 or 60,lovely.

The rest are really good songs.
You won't feel bad ,if you buy this cd..

There is no new ground broken here, but this is a very pleasant, highly listenable collection of techo-pop/rock songs. The showcase piece here is "Historias de Danzon & de Arrabal". I was enticed into purchasing this CD after having seen the video for this song, which may be available somewhere in an English version, but not on this CD. The other songs are also very well executed with fine musicianship and latin percussion. One thing that some listeners may find annoying are the sound effect interludes that create transitions between songs--however these are relatively short and innoccuous and they do create some fluidity between pieces. Overall I find this to be a pleasing addition to the musica en espanol part of my music collection. Check out the "Historias De Danzon & De Arrabal" video for a taste of what this talented artist can do.

Aleks! Que te pasó muchacho? Soy un ultra fan de Syntek, lo sigo desde "Más Fuerte..." y la verdad siempre pensé que los albumes más débiles eran "Lugar Secreto" y "De noche...", claro está, sin llegar a ser del todo malos, solo con una "pizquita" de algo pendiente... pero con grandes hits ambos y con rolas no populares pero brillantes, tal es el caso de Pise la Tierra, Para Tí, por citar algunas... Sin embargo "Lección de Vuelo" pienso que es, por mucho, el peor disco de la era tan brillante de Aleks; ahora que no por eso creo que todo lo hecho anteriormente se debe tirar por tierra... Solamente es de sentarse nuevamente y dejar que llegue la verdadera inspiración. En este "Vuelo" Aleks intentó navegar por varios ritmos y estilos como ya lo había hecho en "De noche..." pero sin llegar a tener tantos clímax como en este disco en efecto si ocurrió... y rolas gruperas, tex mex y cosas por el estilo distan muy lejos del status ya ganado por tan talentoso músico... Y yo al menos no estoy de acuerdo con aquello de ciertos artistas de "compongo lo que me gusta y si no les gusta a mis fans, me importa poco"... como tampoco le entro a aquello de hacer una y otra vez más de lo mismo; creo que es cosa de creatividad y talento, de respetarse un poco a si mismo y a los fans... O sea, algo intermedio. Si hacemos un parangon con la literatura, vemos que cada libro de Carlos Fuentes es diferente de los demás, pero si los lees por separado y a carátula escondida se sabe que es Carlos Fuentes! Lo mismo pasaba con Aleks; cuando le colaboró a AB Quintanilla no pasó de ser eso y por lo mismo está bien tener un ligero roce con otras corrientes... pero ya con este disco si me parece más falta de inspiración que capacidad para navegar entre otros ritmos... Aleks, vos trabajaste con Ray Manzarek, por Dios! Eso te puso, hace ya largos 15 años, en un peldaño muy por arriba de otros artistas incluso de LatinoAmerica. Por favor, la doña muerte? Hace tiempos dejé de soñar con escuchar un disco tuyo tan perfecto como "Bienvenido..." pero "Lite" me pareció brillante, acorde a los tiempos y no dejaste de ser tu mismo... Doy una estrella porque pienso que "Intocable" sin ser más de lo mismo, es buena rola y ese, ese sos vos, te oigo sin saber de tu disco y sé que es Aleks Syntek!!!!!
