My doctor prescribed lecithin for joint health, and it may or may not work for that purpose (I'm taking several products for joints, so it's impossible to pinpoint the effect of any one or another), but one thing that is quite evident about lecithin: it makes your skin soft. All over! My elbows and feet and knees, softer and smoother. It makes it very comfy to occupy your skin. I stopped taking it during some extended traveling, and then began again, and the difference is pronounced. Swanson was initially aggressive with the catalogues and marketing emails, but I called and they finally stopped. This is the dosage capsule I take.

I agree with another reviewer in that the price for this product can't be beat. The company also shipped quickly to my address. Recommend all Swanson vitamins and supplements for your healthcare needs.

Lecithin as a supplement promotes lower cholesterol and is therfore good for your heart. Fish oil and flaxseed oil also have similar effects.

I always take lecithin but am used to paying much more, I was plesantly suprised at Swanson's prices for vitamins, supplements and herbal remedies with the same high quality as I had before. They were quick to arrive. Plan to continue using this company.
