This volume contains the Nobel Lectures given by the laureates in Literature from the years 1982-90.It also includes the presentation speeches, a biographical sketch and a photo of each laureate. Those included in the volume are Canetti, Marquez, William Golding, Jaroslav Seifert, Claude Simon, Wole Soyinka, Joseph Brodsky, Nagibh Mafouz, Camilo Jose Cela, Octavio Paz.Of all the writers here I feel it is Brodsky who most speaks to the love of Literature and Love of human freedom- values the Prize honors. |
