I Couldn't Get Enough!, February 28, 2006
Brown has given us a very sweet story in LED ASTRAY! It is about a religious family with one "good" son and one "bad" son. Both sons love the same girl. The characters truly care about one another and it was a pleasure to read their interactions. There was a nice, long courtship where the reader got to know them more and I enjoyed it very much.
The story is well developed and has likeable primary and secondary characters. You won't want to skip a single word in this book, in fact, you'll reread some parts! I was tired of the love/hate romances I've been reading lately, it was a delight to pick up this book. I kept waiting for it to get stupid, but it didn't. I was pleasantly surprised.
Another worth-reading romance by Brown is SUNNY CHANDLER'S RETURN.

A definite keeper...2 book series..., September 14, 2006
Description from the back of the book:
Jenny Fletcher had selflessly put her needs and dreams behind those of her fiance, Hal, a man more committed to a cause than to her. On the eve of his departure for Central America, he gave Jenny what she wanted more than anything...one passionate night. It was his final gift, for he didn't return home alive.
In every way Cage Hendren was the opposite of his brother, Hal. Wild and reckless, t he black sheep of the family, he was all rough edges, with a soft spot for just one thing: Jenny. It was Cage, not Hal, who showed her the meaning of ecstasy that night. It was his child, not Hal's that Jenny carried.
And he'll do everything in his power to show her that he'd led her astray to prove that the right man had been there all along...
* I randomly picked this book out of the 200+ that I have on my shelves to read & embarrassingly I was disappointed with my selection at first. I thought this was going to be a book that I couldn't wait until the ending came but boy was I ever wrong. This is a book that I will hold on to & one of my favorites. This is one of those times where the phrase "don't judge a book by its cover" comes into play. This book is a must read. Don't pass it up.
Following up to let you all know that there is another book that follows this one, The Devil's Own, it's a very good book & you will see quite a bit more of Jenny & Cage in it. Enjoy!!

You Wouldn't Be Led Astray By this Book, March 13, 2005
Even though this is a rewrite. It was fine reading. The story is about Jenny who loses her fiancee on a mission. and is comforted by his brother Cage who's consider the black sheep of the family. Who's himself has a thing for Jenny. The question is asked Will Jenny follow her heart or will she allow mistaken loyalty and guilt rule her heart? In order to know read this excellent book. You won't be sorry!
