I have read several "near-death" books over the years, but this is the first one in a long time to leave me feeling happy and hopeful. I appreciated the message that I don't have to be a prophet or do something spectacular to gain a place in heaven. I really liked the description of Jesus Christ in this book, who serves as the author's guide during her journey to the other side. Jesus is shown as very friendly, loving, and understanding of our mortal frailties. I also loved the fact that mothers are honored in heaven, which is a concept our world seems to be quickly forgetting. I would recommend this book to anyone who is looking to be spiritually uplifted.

This is the best "Near-Death experience" book I've read ever and I've read 6!!! Suzanne Freeman brings hope, joy, peace and happiness into her spiritual journey. This is a book for all those who are any doubts about a loving savior and loving departed loved ones and not seeing them and living with them again. This is the book for those seeking answers to spiritual truths and to learn why we came to earth and the wonderment of being reunited with our loved ones when we have finished our earthly mission. Truly a remarkable journey!!!! I highly RECOMMEND THIS BOOK!!!!

One of the best books I have ever read. If you want a better understanding of God and his plan, or knowing that your lord loves you this is the book.

What a beautiful book! I enjoyed reading this very very much. I cried and chuckled. It's a very positive experience. Granted, it would help if you're LDS to read this and more open-minded. The Spirit will touch your heart while reading this book, if you allow Him to. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in knowing what Paradise looks and feels like. It's an amazing journey. So many people do not share their stories because of the lack of faith & belief soooo many people have in this world - especially in these latter-days - but I, for one, believe the words of this book and rejoiced in reading it.

This book was a fascinating read. However, my wife found some parts questionable. Although very similar to most NDE stories, this one is definitely from a Latter-Day-Saint perspective (I am LDS as well).

I personally was captivated, although I too questioned if there was some embellishments or writers license. No two NDE's are exactly alike, so it's either truth or fiction. If it's true, WOW!! I want to attain that for myself. Did I enjoy the book? Completely! Do I recommend it? Absolutely. (I'm reading it through a second time)

This is one of the best books I have ever read!! I loved her detail and description of Heaven and all the wonderful things that happen there. It gave me insight to things I hadn't thought of before. It almost makes you wish you could be there now. My favorite part of the book was how she described Christ, it is how I imagined him, but better. It truly gave me a deeper love for him. And it makes me even more excited to meet him one day.

This story is a quick read. I circulated through my family and everyone enjoyed the book. The book has a detailed account of going to the other side to see not just family but Christ and many other personalities. A good read, especially for those of the LDS faith.

This was an enlightening book that infused a myriad of thought as to what it "could" be like on the other side after death. I really enjoyed the detail which gave me new thoughts to analyze. It actually made me feel anxious to do better while I'm on earth and inspired me to be a better person and more service minded to others to ensure my joy after this life. Anything that encourages one to become more Christlike is a good thing!

I made the mistake to read the author's (Suzzanne Freeman) second book (Through the window of Life) first. At that time, I did not know that it was the continuation of her first book (Led by the hand of Christ). So, I decided to read the first book. I was left in totally awe! This is the first NDE book that made me laugh and cry almost at the same time. I have read many, several, NDE books. What I can say? I am hooked on the topic. I just love it! so I read them all. I have to say that this is by far my favorite one. I totally love her description of heaven. It's real, people are real and they play, dance and even sing kareoke and yet they do all that with pure LOVE and JOY. There is not one day that passes in my life that I don't think about the words on this book. I want Heaven to be just like Suzzanne describes and I want to go live there. What can say? Loved it just loved it.

Excellent writing. This book was easy to read. I didn't want to put it down. I felt what the writer was trying to convey.
