This is a very nice antique brass swing, arm floor lamp. Originally, I had planned to buy a more expensive floor lamp. However, I finally decided to try this one and I am very happy with the purchase. The overall quality is very good and the shipping for Discount Office Items was supper fast. One day after ordering the lamp it arrived. What a surprise! Thank you!

I spent hours researching online and in-store for a floor lamp. I finally took my chances and ordered this lamp. It is heavy, well made, and more than I expected for its dollar value.

We were happy to find that the rather inexpensive floor lamp we had ordered looked very classy and not in the least bit cheap. It works, and appears to be well made. The shade has the striations of a true silk shade (although I don't know if it really is silk). The shade is not the "white white" I expected, but rather a pleasant creamy white.

- Easy to assemble, no tools required.
- Sheds light over a limited area. It will not light an entire room (unless the room is very small). This is desirable in our situation, might be less so in others.
- Creates a subdued, peaceful atmosphere ideal for reading & study.

Solid, well made lamp - much better than I expected for the price, considering I was seeing floor lamps for anywhere from $100-$250 on other sites. I put it together easily, no special tools needed. Ordered it for an office but I wouldn't hesitate to purchase one of these lamps for my home."

I bought two these lamps and they are very good quality and look wonderful in the livingroom! VERY good lamps for the price!

After reading previous customer reviews,we decided to purchase this lamp.Not only was it packaged extremely efficiently,it was easily put together in about 10 minutes,no tools required!The base is heavy,& not prone to tip when the swivel arm is extended.Well worth the price!

Bought these as a gift for my very picky cousin - after she approved, of course. The real item (vs. picture) ended up pleasing her well as they had an old vibe, and did the trick for where they were needed in the den in a Greenwich Village townhouse. Thank you,
