This is a great little desk/work lamp. The blue shade is very calming and cooling, and really protects my eyes (very sensitive to light) but lets me see what I'm doing. It's very sturdy and well-made. The brushed chrome stem has vertical ribbing like an architectural column, and the base has a decorative medallion design around the base of the stem. Also, the base is very weighty to offset the weight of the thick glass shade, so it doesn't budge when you pull the on/off chain. My office is decorated with silver and various shades of blue accents, so this little lamp is a perfect fit. It arrived ahead of schedule and in perfect condition (good packing), and is a very good value especially for the quality. Highly recommend this product and vendor.

The price was good and delivery was prompt. But: the green glass shade is hard to adjust - it flops all the way down instead of staying where you put it. Tried wedging a piece of paper in the joint @ the side, but that doesn't work. Maybe a gob of tacky-stuff?

This lamp is exactly as described. It arrived more quickly than I expected. In short, exactly the kind of product and service I have come to expect when ordering from Amazon - excellent.

This lamp arrived on time and works fine. My only slight disapointment, the glass is purple when turned off.

This came with a small compact fluorescent spiral bulb and therefore, one side has absolutely no light. If you want the kind of lamp that has the long tube that gives light all the way across, this isn't it. Otherwise, it's pretty and was easy to assemble.
