Great product and good price. The in-line dimmer switch is compact and can be tucked away in tight places. The rotary switch allows a wide band of light intensity, including an ON-OFF position. The cable connectors are 5mm, which is properly defined in Amazon's product advertizing.

The LEDwholesalers inline PWM LED dimmer works well. It has a good dimming range and on/off switch

The output connector did not exactly match the existing one on my LED strip but I was able to cut it off and splice the leads directly.
A replacement LED strip connector that will match this dimmer exactly is available.
For DIYers, the cover on this dimmer can easily be unscrewed and input and/or output leads replaced to customize your connections.

Adding an LED string to a display case and needed a dimmer. The string I'm using is only about 6 feet long. Because the design of this dimmer is so compact and sleek, I can keep it in sight but it remains unobtrusive. One of the two I ordered had an intermittent open, but it was in the connector and with a little fiddling, soon working. I'll soon need more and will order here again.

This dimmer worked perfectly to dim two 5-meter strips of double-density LED lights that I installed in my kitchen. The DC plugs fit into the existing end of the first strip, so it was really convenient.

This dimmer works as expected. I am not disappointed. I do with the lead wire on the side going to the LED's was a little longer. This limits the mounting position choices you have. Other than that, not bad at all.

Converted an aquarium lighting to LED strip (cut and soldered) and used this as the switch. Compact enough I just 2 sided taped it to the back of the light housing with the offset part of the dimmer facing up making it easy to use without fiddling for the wire.

Only four stars because it does 'blip'/ flash when you first turn it on but the range adjustment is smooth after that.

works with common 5.5mm x 2.1mm plugs, and has an actual on/off switch built into the knob, but the PWM frequency is too low for my liking. it leaves visible strobe trails and seems more irritating than usual when you glance at a bare LED.

sticker on bottom says "DC 9-24V" center positive, and no UL certification or anything.

inside it has a AOD472 25V 50A MOSFET, a NE555 timing chip and LM358 op-amp, so maybe it could be modified to have a faster PWM frequency or higher current rating if you were good with electronics.

I bought this to control the brightness of LED lighting strips hidden above the crown molding in our recreation room. It snaps right in without modification, its 2.1mm power connectors (1 male, 1 female) matching most of the pre-made lighting strips available here on Amazon. It is more rugged than the last one we used, which after a while allowed the rheostat contained inside to spin with the knob and tearing it loose from its connecting wires. It could use a mean of attaching it to the wall to be included, but I found a strip of foam double sided tape did a great job.

good product, works for what I wanted it for and has an off setting which is an added bonus. The connections are a little loose but nothing I can't work with

I ordered several of these and they work well enough. The only drawback is that these don't dim down to very low brightness("barely on") levels. 2 Identical looking units from HitLights have a much larger range of dimming, from full bright down to just barely lit. I would guess that these all come from the same source but have slightly different component specs, (or it was just coincidence). I have not tried to peel open the units to see if the internals are different. If running off of portable power (car or boat) be aware that these dimmers draw a small amount of current in the "Off" position. A separate on/off switch ahead of the dimmer may be prudent. All of these PWM dimmers operate at fairly low frequency. When the lights are visible and I move my head or glance away, I momentarily see multiple rows of dots. The same thing that happens when the car in front of me has LED tail lamps.
NEW info: I use these for indirect lighting. When the LEDs are not directly visible, I do NOT get the "flickering, strobing" after image effect.
