4.0 out of 5 stars Albert Lee Rocks, but too fast for some users, March 17, 2007

This review is from: Lee:Advanced Country Guitar [VHS] (VHS Tape)
Albert Lee is one of the finest guitarists of his genre with a professional resume as long as your arm. I could hardly wait to see him explain his style so I could pick up some of his licks without having to scratch up my LPs by going back and back and back...

This video is useful and you can learn from it. My impression is that Albert is very shy and the interviewer had to drag information out of him. Also, he is constantly asking Albert to play it again, slower.

I haven't worked with the video much, but have viewed most of it while I was working on another project. I think this will be very useful to me... because I've been playing guitar for almost 50 years. Beginners will find this baffling, I'm afraid.

If nothing else, it's just a hoot to see Albert Lee interviewed. I have loved his music for years and the warmth of his playing matches the warmth of his person.

Recommended for intermediate to advanced players.
