If you like Chinese food, this sauce is perfect for barbecued baby back ribs. In addition, nothing could be easier to use - just follow the directions on the jar. Heat the oven to about 400 degrees, slather the sauce on both sides of the ribs, place on foil-covered baking pan (for easy clean-up) and bake for about 45 minutes. Halfway through, turn the ribs over so that both sides develop a crusty glaze. Absolutely foolproof.

If you want to make the real-deal chinese style spares, this is the sauce to use. Marinate in this overnight, then slow cook them.

Great for spare ribs. Happy to find it online since I am living overseas. I have used this product for year the consistency was not as thick but the taste is the same.

this sauce is so so. its really thick so it doenst stick well to the meat. i actually prefer the powdered char siu to this sauce. if you do use this sauce, make sure to save the left over marinade to baste the meat while cooking.
