Try this app right now on your computer. You control the app with your mouse and keyboard to experience it like you would on your phone. Test drive this app before you buy.
How does this work?
Clicking the “Test drive now” button launches a copy of this app on Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), a web service that provides on-demand compute capacity in the cloud for developers. When you interact with the simulated phone using your mouse and keyboard, we send those inputs over the Internet to the app running on Amazon EC2 — just like your mobile device would send a finger tap to the app. Our servers then send the video and audio output from the app back to your computer. All this happens in real time, allowing you to explore the features of the app as if it were running on your mobile device.

1.0 out of 5 stars Website is better.... January 8, 2012

Poorly written app, works only in portrait mode leaving a 2" black border at the bottom.
In the "News" section, top news photo and title is frozen on top half of screen making it very hard to scroll thru the others.

Then, when I did exit the app, my Fire froze, had to reboot and un-install app.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good for digital, but limited in scope June 16, 2012

The St. Louis Post Dispatch is exactly what we needed to keep up with what is going on the area. We live out of the US mostly but make our home close to St. Louis, so it fulfills our needs. It is hard to navigate and limited in scope, but for a digital newspaper, it is pretty good and fills a need.

3.0 out of 5 stars It's okay
The app does the basics of being able to review the headline news quickly. I am a little disappointed that it does not update the headlines as frequently as I would have expected.
