5.0 out of 5 stars hard to find item
As a guitar and harmonica player who plays out in small clubs it is very hard to find a quality harmonica holder that perfectly holds 10 hole harmonicas .When your specialty is Bob Dylan Neal Young and Donavan covers you have to have a dependable holder that does not slip. This product is perfect for that type of music.I bought two so that I could have one set up in G and...

1.0 out of 5 stars GREAT FOR A GIRAFFE
Tried every possible adjustment. I have to lean my head so far up to get to the harp to play... it is ridiculous.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Harmonica Holder, January 11, 2007
This review is from: Lee Oskar Harmonica Holder (Electronics)
I have tried EVERY type/brand of harmonica holder for the last 8 or 10 years and FINALLY found one that works great and doesn't look like some type of orthopedic device.
I will caution anyone using this harp holder to be careful when adjusting it not to bend the flat stamped spots that keep the springs in place. I managed to break one that way but was still able to finish the show in spite it being broken because it's made so well.

5.0 out of 5 stars Easy trick to change harmonicas with this thing, September 29, 2010

This review is from: Lee Oskar Harmonica Holder (Electronics)
I've read reviews all over the internet about this thing, and decided to buy it yesterday. I've read a lot of reviews in which people say the springs are way too tight and it's hard to change harps, and while that may be true, I've figured out a pretty simple way to swap them in and out without too much fuss: hold the harp with your mouth (lips over teeth), then use both hands to pull down on the springs using the parts of the holder that the bottom of the harp rests on from the outside. Then simply ease the harp in with your mouth. The key is to apply even pressure to both springs at the same time. It's not hard.

4.0 out of 5 stars almost great, December 11, 2011

Very durable and stays tight. It's a bit tall, but I solved that problem by putting a flat carpenters pencil pencil between the harp and the top plate, effectively lowering the harp. Would be nice if the harp holder was 1/2 inch longer so you could adjust the harp more left or right instead of center.

4.0 out of 5 stars Bob Dylan Anyone?, May 11, 2011

I bought this to go along with my new harmonicas I bought, and boy am I getting some practice time in. I thought I was just going to be fooling around with it but ended up getting good enough where I could take it to jam sessions. Great holder, sturdy and build to last. One gripe is that it is pricy for what you get though, then again its about average price.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great buy, May 2, 2011

The Lee Oskar Harmonica Holder is great. Works exactly as it should. Its my first holder, I've been playing guitar for over 5 years and find it great. It helps you explore different areas of music otherwise unreachable without another player. All the adjustments are easy to make and they straightforward. I know others have said its hard to take out the harmonica and switch it, but if you leave the holder on, put the harmonica in your mouth and push down with both hands on the springs its really easy. I would definitely recommend this model holder, its worth every cent.

I'm not very good, so my girlfriend would give this a 1. But thats only because this works exactly as it should. Giving me the ability to play hands-free and make even more noise with multiple instruments. Solid construction, and a design that makes it easy to adjust on the fly. Not that easy to switch harmonicas, so if you wanted to use this live and don't have it in the budget to buy multiple, id at least research other holders. But this one is solid, and has worked great for my needs.
