I was on a tight budget when I started reloading for my pistol and bought a Lee Precision Anniversary setup. Dies are separate so I bought the Lee Precision dies for .38/357. Being made out of carbide steel, you don't need any sizing lube like other dies. I've loaded about 1500 rounds so far and have no problems with them. One thing to remember is that the Lee dies don't crimp as do other premium dies such as RCBS, it's an extra step/extra die not included in this set. It's up to you on .38/357's whether to crimp or not, I do but others tell me its optional for this caliber. I guess that's because this caliber is not a "semi-automatic" choice, almost all are for revolvers. But if you are loading for a semi-auto or even a rifle in this caliber, I'd make sure to get the crimp die also (you can all four dies in one set if you look around). The price on Amazon is very competitive compared to the big internet stores. I'd recommend this to a friend.

These work great. But I am new to reloading and have a Lee turret press so I have really nothing to compare it to. So they reload just fine and I like that I can use them for both .357 and .38. I am cheap so two for one make me happy.

I have reloaded for 32 years and I can't decide if I like Lee or not. With RCBS you can lock the ring in place but with lee there is a "O" ring that holds it in place. You just need to be careful when removing or screwing them in. A little to far down and you may crush the casing, or to far up and it may not be sized right. But for the price if your careful they work.

This my first Lee Precision Die set and so far they are working well. The three die set includes the sizer/decapper, charging/expander and bullet seating/crimp dies. In addition, the set comes with a 5cc dipper (about 4.5 gr of unique/universal) and a shell holder. Nice package for the money. I bought a lee factory crimp die, since I like that tool and prefer to crimp in a separate operation. I also charge the cases using a funnel since I like to see what's going on, and the powders I use tend to stick to everything due to static. Overall a nice addition to my loading bench.

Ive got about a 1000 rounds threw theses dies,They perform well and are doing there job.
I keep buying Lee products because of the price points,And always worry if its not going to last
because of there cheaper prices. So far everything ive purchased that says Lee on it,From there
dies to there primer tools to there powder measures have all worked out better than expected.
I would definitely buy Lee products threw Amazon in a heartbeat having the great luck with there stuff ive had.

Great product! Reloading Dies are a one time purchase. There is no way to wear them out, you are manipulating brass with carbon steel. For years I used RCBS Dies & they are a great product also, but since I changed calibers I went with these. And for half the price, they do just as good if not better at what they are designed to do. Reload ammunition, so I am very pleased with this purchase.

No complaints. Would prefer a different style of lock rings, but these work just fine and don't really matter if you leave them set up in a turret/progressive press. Would buy again, or a 4 die set to get the factory crimp die as well.

I stated in another review that I had no experience with reloading. This item was purchased because of a problem inserting plastic/wax bullets into cartridges. This is a video that is very detailed about using the set. I wonder about using a factory cartridge to set the bullet depth.
