5.0 out of 5 stars Pureness and abstraction, May 30, 2009

This review is from: Lee Ufan: The Art of Encounter (Paperback)
Lee Ufan is a South Korean-born painter and sculptor. In this compilation of his essays we can learn how deep and abstract his ideas are, and how they can be seen in his art. He writes about his own work but also about a lot of other artists and movements. The language is very accesible but the ideas are incredibly deep and touching.

It's important to know, before you buy it, that there's no single picture of his artworks, so this compilation is the best way to learn how Lee Ufan thinks but you'll need another book Lee Ufan: Encounter with the Other, for instance, to admire his pure painting and sculpture.

Greetings from Barcelona!
