About the Author

Mike Malloy became interested in motion pictures at an early age, an interest which led to an investigation of both early and contemporary films, westerns in particular, and their importance in a historical framework. In addition to writing, he is an art and drama scholar in Arcadia, California.

Very perfunctory biography with detailed film and TV credits. The bio section takes up the first 33 pages of this slight book, the rest is pretty detailed and complete synopses, comments, and cast lists of LVC's many filmed appearances. Nice as an overview of the man's career but not really an actual biography by any stretch.

Lee Van Cleef was a great actor especially in the Westerns which should make this book most enjoyable!!
