5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for Tall Pears!
I have an incredibly challenging time finding pants because I:

1 - am tall (5'10' 32"inseam)
2 - have a small waist
3 - am classic pear shape with larger thighs and calves.

These pants were a remarkably perfect fit and they didn't cost an arm and a leg.

1.0 out of 5 stars needs a better description
If you have cruised the department stores, you know that Lee makes a selection of black stretch plain front pants that fit this description, but there are substantial differences in fit and feel of the fabric. These are dowdy and stiff compared to a much softer and more form fitting style that I had purchased at Kohl's. The good news is that this vendor had what I...

These pants were a remarkably perfect fit and they didn't cost an arm and a leg.

The best part is that they aren't huge bell bottoms to fit my large calves and have just enough taper to be casual but professional. They are extremely comfortable and have just enough crispness to still look professional and somewhat dressy. I love them so much that I purchased 7 pair!

5.0 out of 5 stars Good Lee Fit, October 19, 2005
These pants are a good fit for women with wider hips, just what I was looking for. The only drawback to these pants is that after several washing the color fades slightly.

Never buy clothes online but these were so cheap I had to try. Arrived yesterday and wearing today. I love the fit and comfort. Wish other styles and colors were available in my size. Great choice for those of us whop are not exactly model shape or size! Also purchased a pair of Lee Jeans whth hidden elastic waist which also feel wonderful. Just ordered another in black.

5.0 out of 5 stars Lee Slacks, January 11, 2007
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I was unable to find these slacks locally, so I went on the internet and typed in the style number and brand from an old pair like this. What a delight to find that I could buy them again, and they are great - just a little bit of spandex and they fit beautifully. I will definitely order more.

5.0 out of 5 stars great pants, November 9, 2006
They fit great, they have some stretch to them so they are forgiving. No big baggy pockets to make you look even fatter, and they come in petite.

4.0 out of 5 stars Comfortable, casual slacks, February 2, 2007
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)

These were too much to resist at $14.90 a pair, especially since they come in petite sizes. I have gained a little weight and needed a new pair of slacks. Despite some of the other comments, I would find these hard to classify as dressy unless I had an over sized cashmere sweater over them. They are very plain, and the fabric appears durable but not fancy. However, the main reason they get four stars from me is that the taupe, while the shade is correct, is noticeably darker than what appears on Amazon's site. I'm hoping that they will fade, consistent with comments made in other reviews.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice pants for work, February 20, 2009

I'm not sure what to say about these pants. The description says they're tapered leg, but the label on the pants says they're straight leg. I compared them to some tapered khaki pants I bought at LL Bean and the LL Bean pants are a couple inches smaller at the bottom hem. I wish these Lee Jeans pants were more tapered.

They fit well and the length is good. Penneys and Kohls sell Lee Jeans straight leg khaki pants, but the waist is lower on them. It was nice to try those pants on for size before buying these pants on Amazon.

I think I'll go back to ordering from LL Bean. Their pants are:
Original Bayside Twill Pants, Wrinkle-Resistant All-Cotton Plain Front.

Description
100% wrinkle-resistant cotton fabric is washed for softness. Trim, smooth-front silhouette. Front quarter pockets, back welt pocket.

Fit
Sits above waist; slightly fitted through hips and thighs; slightly tapered legs.
Inseams: Petite 28", Regular 30", Medium Tall 32", Tall 34".

(I'm not trying necessarily to plug LL Bean; I'm just not loving it that the Lee Jeans pants are described as tapered leg, but labeled straight leg and not very tapered. And the price is the same.)

5.0 out of 5 stars Comfortable But, January 21, 2006
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)

The slacks are comfortable with just enough stretch. However, they are too long and the fabric is a bit rough and catches everything. Nevertheless I enjoy wearing them and am thinking about buying a second pair. It's also a good value. Would prefer a shorter length and a better fabric.
