Finally a jean that fits!,

This review is from: Lee Women's Ultimate 5 Straight Leg Jean (Apparel)
It is very difficult to find jeans for my body type (5'7", narrow hips, long waist and 'well endowed' behind). Most jeans are baggy on my hips, too tight in the behind and shrink to 'highwaters' after the first few washes but not these! They fit just below the navel. I normally wear a size 8 but the size 6 fits great so you may want to order one size smaller. Like other reviews, they do run long in the Medium but that is why I like them. My favorite Ultimate 5 is the 100% cotton but the 1% or 2% Lycra is comfortable too. However, I do not like the Ultimate 5 Stretch jeans or capris as they stretch too much.

I have had these for about a year. They relaxed way too much the first couple of washings. The fit was ok at first, but quickly became too baggy. I, like the other reviewers, had problems with the length and had to hem them. They are not bad jeans, and I did like the original fit, but I am much happier with the "one true fit" jeans (also by lee).

Straight Leg? I don't think so,

I can never find jeans to fit, but these fit in the waist and behind very well. But their idea of straight leg and my idea of straight leg are 2 different things. Instead of hugging the leg and tapering all the way to the ankle like "straight leg" would imply, they are about 2 inches wider than my thigh and stay that way all the way down. I suppose if I were 30 years younger that could work, but I'm not, and it doesn't. Guess it's off to my zShop for these!
