This insert is much better than the insert that comes with the Jet. The fit is excellent and is very easy to adjust. I have found that after some time has passed, the adjustment screws work loose and require more adjustment time than I would like. I'm going to try lock tight on the adjustment screws to see if that will hold them in adjustment. I thought the price was a little high, but it's the best insert I've seem so far.

Buying this Leecraft insert has eliminated small pieces of wood going down under the saw between the blade. I feel much safer cutting with this zero clearance plate. My cuts are more accurate now as well.

The only improvement I would make in this product is to increase the length of the depth adjustment screws. In order to bring these inserts to level with the Shop Fox cabinet saw I almost had to "bottom out" the screws. Increasing the length by 1/8" would have made the job easier.

Otherwise these inserts fit perfectly.

I bought this insert to replace the standard insert on my Grizzly 1023SLW. This insert has nice adjusting screws so that it fits perfectly into the opening on my saw. It took about 2 minutes to get it set up just right, and to cut the slot into it. The material looks like a nice hard plastic, and I have no problem sliding anything up over it. The only complaint I have with it is that it makes a loud clicking noise as the blade spins by it for a while until it wears itself in. Other than that, I really like what it does for my cutting ability on the saw.

I made my own inserts from a railroad car window which is half inch thick polycarbonate. They fit and work very well and didn't cost a cent.
