5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful Books!
My 12-year-old son just devours these books, and I'm so happy about it! There are too many negative influences in today's society, and these books are nothing but a positive influence, in my opinion. My son says that these books are bringing him closer to God. How many people can say that what entertains their child does that? My son actually puts the Game Cube down to...

1.0 out of 5 stars A warning to parents. . .
I am a parent, a homeschooler, a conservative, and a committed Christian. I say all this up front so that my criticism of this series will be understood.

I believe in presenting the truth to my children to the best of my ability.

This means the truth of the Bible -- not the opinion of an extreme minority.

This means the truth of Church History -- warts and...

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful Books!, March 22, 2005
This review is from: Left Behind: The Kids (Left Behind: Collection 5, Books 25-30) (Mass Market Paperback)
My 12-year-old son just devours these books, and I'm so happy about it! There are too many negative influences in today's society, and these books are nothing but a positive influence, in my opinion. My son says that these books are bringing him closer to God. How many people can say that what entertains their child does that? My son actually puts the Game Cube down to read these books..and believe me, that's a miracle!

Yes, these books are from a Christian perspective, but even a non-Christian would enjoy the good reading.

5.0 out of 5 stars kids of all ages will read them non-stop and want more, September 30, 2005
This review is from: Left Behind: The Kids (Left Behind: Collection 5, Books 25-30) (Mass Market Paperback)
As a continuation of the ongoing saga of the kids Left Behind, this package rules. Following the Young Tribulation Saints leaves you wanting more. When readers realize that this is a prophesy that will come true, they'll need more. I highly recommend this entire series, not just for kids, but for people that need an easy read and want to know just what God has in store for mankind.

5.0 out of 5 stars An excellent account of the Rapture and what will happen, August 9, 1999
By A Customer
When I read this book it made me realize that God will take care of you even if you have not accepted Him. I suggest that everyone read this book because it gives you a chance to know Him and feel His presence in the character's lives and in yours

5.0 out of 5 stars Left Behind Second Series, February 8, 2006
A Kid's Review
LEFT BEHIND Second Chance By Jerry B. Jenkins This book is GREAT if you're a Christian for a belief. I loved this book because it has an excellent use of language and has you sitting on the edge of your seat for the next exciting chapter to begin. This book is realistic fiction. The characters are Jud, Vicky, Ryan and Lionel. You will be upset at some times but it will clear up. I enjoyed this book so much. I hope will if u read it.

4.0 out of 5 stars The Second Chance by Jerry B. Jenkins and Tim LaHaye, February 21, 2001
A Kid's Review
Four teenagers are introduced right after the end of the world. Jesus had come back and raptured the true believers. Through the book Judd, Vicki and Lionel all become Christians and work towards their second chance, but Ryan on the other hand has not made up his mind. There were many exciting events in the book, but one major one is that Lionel's uncle died. When Lionel went to identify his uncle, all he found out was that he was not his uncle. This book is very interesting and thought provoking.

5.0 out of 5 stars Second Chance, April 7, 2000
By

I thought Second Chance was a great book. It makes me think a lot more about the Rapture and how awful things will be- disasters, more crime, loneliness. The main characters, Judd, Vicki, Lionel, and Ryan, have all come from Christian homes where all their families were Christians and raptured. I found that the way this book was written made it easy to read. This was a great book because it wasn't boring or difficult to read and it made me think a lot more about my relationship with Christ.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Very Helpful Hint, December 23, 1999
By A Customer
This book is probaly one of the best books I've ever read! It teaches you that if your totally not with Christ... you should be. I recomend this book to all types of readers. This story scary in a good way because the way I think of it teaches you all the practically informs you of just about all the thing that couldhappen if you don't actually follow Christ. (Just like the Pastor). Again I DEFINATLEY recomend this book!

A Kid's Review
When I started this series, I Thought "Any Other Series". I Had Aleady Read The First Book, But I Read It Again. I Loved It, So I Went To The Public Library And Got This Book, NUMBER 2, And I Could Not Drop It! This Book Is Action Packed AND FULL OF Knowledge For Everyone. This Series Is Not Appropriate For Kids Under 9 Though.

5.0 out of 5 stars NOT AT ALL LEFT BEHIND IN BRILLIANCE!, March 22, 2001
This is a brilliant book with a superb story line. It makes you think very deeply. It is thought provoking and helps you to understand simply, things about a very cryptic time in the future that WILL happen. Mayb it won't happen like that but sumthin like it! It is kool. The Christians will b brought away like that suddenly! And the soul searching with Ryan, Judd and the others is brilliant. And Lionel learning 2 walk the Christian walk is superb. It is a good book that I strongly recommend u 2 read! Go 4 it! Thanx!
