Left-handed Knitting,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Left-handed Knitting (Paperback)
Book published long ago. Covers only basics. Good for a beginner. As a totally hand-handed individual, the directions do not always agree with what I picked up on my own over the years. Not really worth the money to me.
I am glad to have it in my collection though. There is so little published for left-handed people. A right-handed knitter will usually say "just sit in front of a right handed person" or in front of a mirror? Doesn't work for me. Over the years I have physically transposed most patterns I've done so they read left to right instead of right to left as in every pattern I have ever had. This is sometimes a mind boggling task when trying to figure how to make the stitches "lean" in the right direction making arm holes, etc. The book won't help in this way. Again, I am glad to have it in my collection. Barb in NH |
