Great for DVT and venous ulcer patients,

I have had DVT five or six times and have had countless ulcers. I need to prop my legs up above my heart as often as possible, but it's been difficult to find just the right pillow - my legs fall off easily when I go to sleep, or I kick the pillow away in my sleep.I bought the 6-inch model for sleeping, and the 8-inch model for daytime use. The 6-incher is comfy enough for me to sleep for at least a few hours with it (it actually helps me fall asleep). And the 8-incher gives me instant relief after I've been on my feet a lot. Great products - affordable and perfectly shaped for their intended use.

6 INCHES COMFORTABLE I WAS WORRIED THAT IT WOULD BE TOO LOW BUT FEELS A LOT HIGHER THAN I EXPECTED. REALLY GOOD FOR TIRED SWOLLEN LEGS FROM LONG DAYS STANDING OR FOR PEOPLE TRYING TO HEAL LEG SORES.DOES NOT FIT INTO STANDARD KING PILLOW CASE.

This product does exactly what it is designed to do. My only issue is the cover is made with really slippery fabricate. If you're a big person, you'll find your legs slip off pretty easy.

This leg elevator is very firm. It won't change shape and it serves its purpose. My back pain due to Sciatica is now a lot better.

I'm 5'6" tall and measure 38-39" from my waist to floor. I found this to be a little short for me, my feet hang off the end. But by placing a flat pillow over this, one that measures no more than 2" thick but 2" longer than the leg elevator it works great. The foam is very firm that is why I really needed to put something over it, it was too hard on my ankles to be dangling off the end. The extra pillow makes it softer and a smidgen longer, making it perfect for me. I will be keeping mine since this is the only one I have found this wide at such a reasonable price. The shipping charges seems a bit much for such a light weight item. They really need to check that out as it seems they are padding the weight to earn more in shipping fees. The pillow weighs about 1.5 pounds, it comes in a cardboard box that has no filler or packing material. Guessing even with the box it couldn't weigh no more than 2 pounds. Yet they say it weighs 10 pounds. It is my hope that by giving you my measurements it will help others know if this will work for them and by giving the weight maybe someone will investigate and find out why we've all been over charged.

This purchase was for a terminal cancer patient with extreemly swollen legs, ankles and feet. The condition was not improving with medication. After a few weeks of using the Leg Elevator, while sleeping at night, the swelling has subsided and the medication has been discontinued. We are very pleased with the purchase. However, the shipping charges seemed to be extreemly high for the light weight being shipped.

I bought this for my dad and he loves it. It really helps relieve the pressure on his back and reduces the swelling in his feet.

This was wide enough so my legs didn't slip off and light enough to reposition easily. Cover comes off easily for washing.
