I have read Lonnie Coleman's complete "Beulah Land" series many times over, and I'm always caught up anew in the characters as they lived out their lives during this turbulent time of the Old South's growing up. It is historically accurate and informative.

I never thought I'd like another book about the South as I like GONE WITH THE WIND.But Lonnie Coleman and his Beulah Land series are wonderful. The characters are realistic and enjoyable. I love this book and the entire series.
