5.0 out of 5 stars Bad day for Vader, March 24, 2009

This review is from: Star Wars The Legacy Collection Battle Damaged Darth Vader Action Figure (Toy)
I recieved this figure a week ago, after deciding to add it to my collection of every other Vader figure ever made, and, playing the Force Unleashed game. I felt I definately appreciated this fugure more after playing the game and seeing the events of how this figure came to be. The detail is excellent with his battle damaged armor and lifesupport systems. Also, the pieces he comes with, including his helmet, actually fit on him well and don't look goofy. Of course, he also comes with Vaders standard lightsaber. Articulation is also very good and it doesn't negatively impact the sculpt of the figure at all. I would also recommend picking up the three pack Vader's Secret Apprentice...great figures!

5.0 out of 5 stars Scarred Vader, January 8, 2012

This review is from: Star Wars The Legacy Collection Battle Damaged Darth Vader Action Figure (Toy)
This is an interesting figure. It's Darth Vader after his battle with Starkiller. It's certainly a new way to look at Darth Vader. Hasbro did a good job recreating the battle damage. Vader's skin looks sickened, while his cape is in tatters. There are also small pieces of his armor you can reinsert to cover up some of the damage. This effect works well, but I think Vader looks better completely off. The helmet in particular doesn't always sit well. Overall, this figure is great for a diorama with Starkiller.
