About the Author

David Alvin was born in Winfield, Illinois, and recalls his earliest experience regarding science fiction from viewing Star Wars with his parents when he was five. He moved with them to Georgetown, Florida and attended school in Crescent City near there. He later graduated from Stetson University as well as from the Long Ridge Writers Group. David met his future wife Martha online, and they married in 2003. They now live and work in Minot, North Dakota and expect their first child in March 2006. Over the years, David has also composed poems, kept a journal, and he writes weekly devotionals online. Legacy is his second novel and the sequel to Progeny, his first novel published by AuthorHouse in 2004.
