I purchased this game after the sampling the free trial and although is was simple to play, I did enjoy the various mysteries and fun puzzles. The hidden items are rather simple to find, and puzzles are pretty simple to solve. However, it was a long game and and the music and characters were enjoyable and pretty true to the television series. I wouldn't recommend this for younger gamers since there are grisly murders involved, but for those who want to just sit back and spend a little free time "solving" murders, this could be a fun game.

I really enjoy this game. The first time I played, I was too interested in checking out the play to listen to the story line. But, I went back and played again and listened and it was almost like watching her TV show. What I could have done without were the scenes where you had to find 30 bouys or so many stacks of money. That was boring. I would recommend it and it has good replay value.

Very simple HOG. Took 30 minutes or less per mystery, so not a lot of game play (that includes listening to the dialog). Within each "book," you revisit the same scenes several times, but objects are moved around. Captures the tone of the t.v. show (what would the police do without J.B. Fletcher?), including the theme song.

This is a pretty good hidden object game. It's true that it's not very difficult, but at least it takes longer than a couple hours to finish it. I'd say it's taken me about 10 hours altogether. If you skip all the dialogue it would be much shorter, though. So I didn't skip it! It was fun to read along and find all the spelling errors and whatnot. The best error was on the 4th investigation when you have to find the 30 rolls of film and develop them and you get a bunch of Polaroids.

Ive watched the show but not a big fan. It really feels as if you're watching the TV show and I also agree that this is worth every penny because it has different mysteries to it so it is a long playing game. The mini games does challenge you to think a bit.

We were so excited to get this game. We bought the actual dvd (not the download). We get over half way into the game & it freezes. I emailed Legacy Inter-active & did get a response from them but it was no help. My XP system has all the necessary equipment needed that is listed on the box to support this game. We even had a 'computer service person' come in to check. We like these types of games to keep our old peep minds working. We did not try to return it because once it was opened we did not think it would be able to be returned. Guess we will stick to Pop Cap games. They work great!

If you were a Fan of Murder She Wrote you will enjoy this Game. And if you are not old enough to be a Fan of the Show, you might still like giving this Game a chance, IF you are a Fan of Hidden Objects. I like that it has a Relaxed or Time game, too. You will get a kick out of hearing Jessica talk w/people of Cabot Cove and eslewhere she stumbles upon a dead person (which happened a lot w/her, <grin>.

I've enjoyed this game simply because I've always like "find the hidden objects" games and the show Murder She Wrote. A couple of the puzzles were tough for me because I'm not puzzle person. My only complaint was that twice in the third book I had to start over because the game seemed to get stuck. It kept telling me that I had another item to find, but I knew that I didn't. So... I had to start over on Book 3 twice. NOT FUN!! Other than that, I recommend it. The mystery is fun trying to figure out before it's solved, and the hidden objects are "exercise" for my brain. :)

Fun game download. Worked well, easy to use, with none of the hangups some of the hidden object games have, e.g., objects so small a magnifying glass can't find them.
