5.0 out of 5 stars A wonderful new Charmed novel., April 5, 2001
Piper and Phoebe are excited when Prue lands an all-expenses paid trip to the English countryside to purchase books for a collector. They arrive in the charming village of Hay-on-Wye, hoping for a demon and warlock-free vacation. Piper gathers flowers to make love charms, and Phoebe meets a handsome stranger named Niall who shares her fascination with the days of King Arthur. Piper and Prue are suspicious of Niall, thinking he might be a warlock, especially since Phoebe had a strange vision about him. Phoebe defends Niall's innocence, insisting that if anyone is a villain, it's Niall's strange friend Diana. When a villager disappears, Piper and Prue jump to accuse Niall - and they discover that he is a victim of Diana, just like the villager. Niall has been yanked to the present from his own life in the 6th century. If the sisters don't find a way to return him to his time, Diana will use him to complete an evil ritual. This was one of my favorite books from the Charmed series. I reccomend it to all fans of the TV show.

5.0 out of 5 stars great book, April 20, 2001

when prue is sent on an all expense paid trip to england to try and find some rare books for a client, piper and phoebe tag along. while browsing in an antique book store pheobe suddenly has a premonition about a man holdihng a baby. she then meets the man in the bookstore and they chat and decide to have dinner that evening. phoebe finds him charming if a bit old fashion. after several more dates it is revealed that a group of druids in the area has brought him through time because he is the son of merlin. it is discovered that he does not have his parents magical abilities but the druids believe that if their leader has a baby by him that this child will possess great magical potential. when pheobe finds out that he had no great impact on history she tries her best to keep him in the 21st century until she has a horrible premonition of what life would be in this century if he does not go back. of course the charmed ones defeats the enemy and sends the poor guy back with phoebe with a broken heart. will our poor charmed sisters ever find romance and happiness? like i said i loved this book and i highly reccommend it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Spell books and Mystery, August 25, 2001
A Kid's Review
This Charmed book rocked. Prue has to go to England to buy antique books for Bucklands so Pheobe and Piper follow along. On the first day Pheobe believes she has really truly follon in love with a dark handsome man in a old bookstore. Piper and Prue beleive he is evil but they let Pheobe still go out with him. It sort of funny when Piper finds this old spell book and uses it to cast a obediant lover spell on Leo but it works on someone she absolutly positivley did not it to work on. When the girls go into the past (and I'm not telling you why) they see camolot as they least expected it and Merlin has a lot greater powers that the charmed ones. This book is so good I recomend any girl even if they don't watch charmed to get it. I gope I've convinced you!

3.0 out of 5 stars The Legacy of Merlin, December 30, 2003

In the Legacy of Merlin Prue has been asked to go to England to find medieval books for a collector. When Piper and Phoebe come with her Phoebe starts dating a man named Niall. Prue and Piper are extremely suspicious of Niall and although they don't approve Phoebe continues dating him. However, when an old lady that Prue knows goes missing right after Prue saw Niall and a different woman speaking with her the sisters must intervene. With some investigation the sisters find that Niall is a victim of the strange lady's and the sisters will have to go back in time to Camelot to save him.

I didn't like this book as much as some of the other Charmed books. The book advertises going back to Camelot but only two of the sisters go and they're only there for about 25 pages.

5.0 out of 5 stars You'll want more!, January 16, 2002

I must say that I was suspicious the Charmed novels might be the rejected episodes sold to the public so the creators could make a bit of extra money. IT IS NOT SO! Especially this story with its subtle hints at the beginning allows you to keep guessing while you read on. It didn't take me more than a day to get through this fun, yet fantastic story. Fiction or not, it gives you a feeling you can travel to Camelot and back. And don't you just wish for a happy end, knowing the Halliwells will succeed, wondering how?

I loved this one! Well I'm a total Charmed Freak and it's great to have these kind of books over the summer to read while you're waiting for the next season to start. As I said this book only has one flaw! Phoebe falls for someone who ISN'T Cole! Boo-hoo...

5.0 out of 5 stars Charming!, May 28, 2001

This is the best Charmed book I have ever read. I have read most, but not all, but I still say so far this one is the best. Prue was hired to find antiques for someone back in the states. So Prue, Piper, and Phoebe traveled to England for a time of their lives. If you love Charmed, and Druid Enchantment, this book is for you!

Prue travels to England with her sisters to buy medieval books for a collector. Piper reads on how to make love charms from flowers, and Phoebe meets tall, dark and handsome Niall, whom she has a vision of him holding an infant. Piper discovers a secret Druid ritual in progress with Niall, a part of it. As they set out to find Niall's secret, they learn that a local villager is in danger from the Druids. To save her, they must journey to Camelot for a magical spell that exists far in the past.
