Danny Hellman Legal Defense Fund
I have had a few email conversations with Mr. Hellman, and he is a great guy - as sick and as wild as his comics are, and also very nice. This ia a very wild and interesting mixture of comics from a wide array of artists, and to put it mildly, very much an antidote to "Dilbert" and "Cathy". YOU MUST BUY IT. Some will laugh out loud and others will twist their faces in disgust
This collection of cartoons is the second volume in a series and contains some of the most irreverent and sometimes gross cartoons ever published. Everything from brutal oral and anal sex to a penile transplant is included from the area of sex. The grossest point is on page 18, where the primary character is pasting cartoons into books using his diarrhea...

I have had a few email conversations with Mr. Hellman, and he is a great guy - as sick and as wild as his comics are, and also very nice. Filthy by design and always crude, sometimes bitter and generally dark, to see these cartoons as humorous requires that your sense of humor be rather broad and crude. If you are able to think darkly and welcome or at least tolerate the crude, then it is possible that you will find this book funny. It is one of those items where some will laugh and others will be disgusted. Where you land will depend on your view of what can be funny. |
