Claire Cripe presents an excellent explanation, in layman terms, of legal issues that every correctional worker will eventually face. This book covers examples of state and federal cases and the problems that caused them, and provides a brief summary of private corrections. It is well organized and easy to follow. Anyone looking for additional insight into legal issues in corrections should make it a point to read this book.
