Made from heavy-duty, white ledger stock with boldly printed black characters on rip-proof tabs (printed both sides). Tabs are printed Avery Style (Helvetica Bold type) unless otherwise noted. These are perfect for any major binding project. It's an extra hassle to make your own tabs sometimes, so the pre-printed numbering on the dividers sets the order of each section and keeps the document easy to flip through and use as reference. I do believe you can print on these dividers or write on them to say what each section is about ...I like using them, and the price I found them at on Amazon was too awesome not to get a few for future use.

These things are as good as the title says. Sometimes you need to index documents. Sometimes you need to divide them. But if you need to do both then Index Dividers are the product for you!

You would think from the name that Legal Index Exhibit Dividers are only for legal exhibits. Wrong! They can be used to index and divide any kind of documents. With big clear numbers on the side so they stay in order. Legal Index Exhibit Dividers are a great invention for efficient and organized paper-handling.
