Dont miss out on this if you are into nas, wu tang (lets just say real hip-hop) you will definately enjoy this cd. If you like cashmonkeys, chingy and all dumb hip hop then go buy the hip hop for dummies book. nuff said

Correction,

First off, let's get one thing straight. This album is not meant to be a Cormega solo album, so please ignore the reviews written by people who didn't do their research, dummies. This album is a compilation album for Cormega's independent record company Legal Hustle and showcases the people signed to the label alongside other guests. So ignore those people who whine about this album not being enough Cormega, because it's not a solo album. The next solo albums to drop from Cormega are entitled Urban Legend and The Testament will also finally get to see the light of the day before christmas.Back to the point, the album is hot, beats are quality and the lyrics are tight, so don't sleep!

A Street Compilation Classic.......,

MEGA comes through once again with a definite street banger. Lyrically & Production wise this album is incredible. Anyone who bumps this loudly & beautifully in a car with a banging system will know exactly what I'm talking about. On the lyrical side of things, Mega teams up with the likes of street legends like Ghostface, AZ, & MOP for some no-nonsense, non-commercial, just hype & poetic songs,... as well as introduces some of his Legal Hustle crew members, the best of which is Miz with a veru grimy, gutter type flow. Also, the female, Dona is nice too. Production-wise, Legal Hustle got hooked up with the likes of Ax the Bull (familiar to most who listen to hiphop emanating from Queensbridge), J. Waxx Garfield, The Feil Brothers, Emile, Ayatollah, etc. If you don't recognize these names then you're definitely plastic and been lost. No big names just pure artists who make quality banging beats. Also, Cormega handled production on a few of the songs and did a great job. The vibe you get throughout is very soulful and melodic sampled beats with various live instruments throughout. As for songs, remeber that this isn't a Cormega album, but a compilation so there are songs showcasing just his crew solo. Though he is on most songs. And the best part is unlike alot of other big name artists, Mega never gets out-rhymed on any collabo song on the album. Never. Personally, my favorite tracks are: "Intro" (2 Producers, 2 fat Beats... 2 Songs basically split. 1 for mega solo, another for Miz and Dona. Both songs are tight), "Beautiful Mind" (produced by Mega himself, and a beutiful soulful beat that forces you to just up the volume and drive with the windows down on the highway.... Incredible Classic Cormega), "Tony Montana" (with Ghostface & Mega spitting gems beautifully together), "The Bond" (with Mega & Dona... Nice production), "Redemption" (with AZ & Mega's laid back smooth flows melding sweetly), "The Machine" (Legal Hustle Crew spitting tight fire together) Other songs are great too, but I have no room or time to expand. Plus, you all know if you would like this or not. If NOT, then somethings definitely wrong with tyour ass and your lame as hell. Let his last 2 albums be an indication. Both Classics. So, if you like true street hip hop with incredible talent pick this up or check it out. And for those of you who want Cormega rapping solo for dolo, then wait for his album "Urban Legend" coming soon................

I liked this album. Wasnt all great, but also wasnt garbage. It was in between. Lyric wise he was on point most of the time, I was feelin it. Production wise, it was pretty ill! I liked most of the beats. No bubblegumness here, which is a plus in my book. If you want some real hiphop sh** check this album out. You shouldnt be dissapointed. I think this album is worth about 4 stars. No less and no more really. Sometimes Cormega's flow seems a little off, but hes ill on every track nonetheless. Check this album out now! Youll like it!
My Top 5 Songs 1.Beautiful Mind (Great beat) 2.Hoody 3.Tony Montana (GHOSTFACE BABY!!!) 4.Personified 5.More Crime Check this out! Its ill.

Cormega is the nicest underground rapper about! I could have given this album 5 stars but then i would have not been able to have given "The True Meaning" (his previous album) the 6 it deserves. This album has a few beats i found a let down for Mega Montana, the rest of the album definately makes up for it(Pure poetry)!
Big up Queensbridge, Ghostface for a wicked contribution and Dona is da realest/illest female rapper! RZA should hook up with Corie & Dona! (Digital Magic) BUY THIS AND DEFINATELY BUY THE TRUE MEANING!!!

Mega has a long history in the hip hop game. It's a shame that it's taken this long for those who appreciate the art to appreciate this artist. Cormega's third "official" release is a very SOLID album with lyrics and beats that cherish the golden age of hip hop. The guest appearences are classic! Believe me, if you are a "true" fan of HIP HOP music and the culture, you will be pleased with this project.

When i bought this i was hyped for a new mega cd, but it seems like hes tryin to get on some no names, he probably started a label or somethin. Anyway when i buy a mega cd i wanna hear all mega on the verses, thats why I like him, he rips the verses and the choruses. I dont wanna hear some whack girl "Dona" on half the songs rappin about how hard she is. The cd keeps havin the same guests so it ends up soundin more like a group cd than a mega solo cd. If the cd is all about puttin his team on, then he shoulda labeled it as a team cd instead of a straight mega cd. The song with ghostface is tight, most of the beats are tight. Track 12 dont even sound like mega is on it. Its worth a listen, but when i wanna listen to mega you know im gonna pop in that realness LP.

The Legal Husle album is on of the best releases of the year. Especially for Cormega being an indie artist the album is put together well. The collaborations are tight the music the whole nine. This album should put Cormega over the top on sales this is platinum material don't sleep on this 1.

Cormega did it again!! Each album he demonstrates skill that goes unseen by most ignored by ignorance. The only flaw is that damn wannabe whos real name is Boxy Frown who wants to be Foxy Brown. But like anything you have the power to do the right thing. By this CD its hot listen to Mega (especially him with MOP BLAZIN!!!!) Just skip ol' girl and you'll be alright.

as hard as it is to top the realness and the true meaning, mega's leegal hustle comes close. The beats are great and his lyrics, like always, are too. his cameos also add to the album. It's good to see people other than hav and P make apperances on mega's albums. Tony Montana is one of the best mega beats ever. cop this album for sure
